I'm now doing my art to and delving into it, so I can get to a point of selling, but my word, your MH dolls are soooooo stinking adorable, your adorable. That is such a cool idea! Porcelain and plaster figurines can also be easily modded with milliput, or some types of air dry clay, for even more dramatic transformations. Thank you for the inspiration!

I do this too! My favourite find are some boy and girl book ends and they’re positioned to look like the boy is about to throw the ball over the books to the girl on the other side, hands open to catch it. I repainted them as clown kiddies, one Pierrot and one harlequin. Do you look up when/where they were made? I found out my book ends were made in London nearly a century ago and it made me love them more, getting a makeover for the next century. I got the pair for £4 and I’m obsessed with them.
I love putting on Rabbit's videos while I do my own crafts. They always inspire me to create more and make my space and my clothes and my things my own!

Whilst these are really cool (and ignore this if you like the matte finish) I recommend maybe using some ceramic paints! it would get you a shinier finish and make it look slightly higher quality! You could also probably use some varnish of some type; mod podge, etc to not only make it shiny but also protect the paint!

I saw the thumbnail. Made me think of the one candle holder of an angel holding a bid missing its head. I found a sheep/ram plastic toy on amazon for cheap that i sawed the head off of and glued to the angel. After a layer of black spray paint, looks like an innocent goat angel holding a black bird.

Don't know how well behaved your cats are, but museum wax. Won't take paint off things, won't leave marks on your vintage furniture. You get it warm with your hands, stick it on the bottom of ceramics and it cat proofs. *Does not work on glass*

Ooooh, my fave is the banjo clown. He's the perfect jester pumpkin! I love how the song for him is "My Way" by Elvis, which is delightfully eerie for some reason. Side note: I love your eyeliner accents today - bats above dark clouds? Gorg! Also, I came across skeleton hands in my Halloween stuff and remembered you made earrings out of them. Hi, your cat ladies don't fit exactly into any time period but are sort late victorian/edwardian in silhouette. Maybe 1880's but I'd say more edwardian at a glance, they just don't have that typical edwardian pigeon-breast blouse tho

I have had people crab at me for repainting mass produced religious items I have gotten at the thrift store. But at the end of the day it is a nick nack that made profit off their religion that has discarded and is one step from trash. If I love it, I gave it a greater service than than the garbage. 🤷🏻♀️
