How did you paint/glue the dollar store bats? I always have the problem that they're too slick and non-porous a surface to work with and to glue down. Did you sand them down first? And what kind of paint did you use? Acrylic? EDIT: Nevermind. I got to the point in the video using Mr. Super Clear sealant. I just needed to be patient. Got it.
I use a matte spray (MSC/krylon/etc) to get them grippy first and then I just use whatever paint I have on hand (enamel , arcrylic, whatever) (I think I go over this in the tutorial part if you wanna skip to that section but ya :-)

@@RattusRattus My first Project is a black worden board, in the Shape of a Coffin, without coffin lid and golden looking metall hooks for my chains and Chokers, done from my Ex-boyfriend. The upper Edge is wide enough to write something on it. My Questions are: How can I measure which font size to use? How can I know the distance between the letters, if it should be all the same? How should I test which Colour he used? How to know which Type of Wood he used? When I wanna write white Paint on black Paint which Type of Paint Should I use? Should I do more layers of the white Paint? How long wood you let the white Paint des,in between the Players? Which Type of papper or Cardboard should I use to create a Template? How Should I copy the Word on my template? Which Type of Knife or Scissor whould you recommend to cut my Template? What would you do to stabilize my Template on the wood during the painting Process? Would u use a Paint brush or Sponge to apply the white Colour? Would you dab or stroke to paint the white colour on top of the black colour?

Sometimes it's hard to follow the videos in general, just with how fast the talking is. Maybe it's just me 😅
Maybe try playback speed 0.75, when I find people too fast talking to follow, that sometimes helps.
