Mediation opening statements are a critical part of the mediation process.
For the mediator, it's their one chance to set the tone and expectations for the mediation and prepare the parties for the session ahead.
For the parties, it's their chance to get things off their chest and look the other side directly in the eye.
Remember, in most situations, it's probably the first time the parties in dispute have had a chance to talk directly with each other since the beginning of the dispute - so it is a golden opportunity to promote productive dialogue between everyone.

Sir my lawyer wasn't prepared after deposition he told we put a big lawsuit but on a mediation he sold me for 18000 after 23 years not only that he told don't push it u got no case i will loose on a trail but me and my lawyer never sat down and talk about my case on on a deposition thats it he never called me talk about my safety violations at work or asking me any questions as per your experience is a normal thing lawyer not to sit down with a client and do a preparation thanks
