Take pleasure knowing how much money your employer spent bringing the company into compliance with discrimination laws, attorney fees they paid, embarrassment for the company, and trying to keep knowledge of your case from other employees. So, during a pre trial voluntary mediation is it common that after doing damages calculation the plaintiff has say $75,000 in actual lost wages…ignoring all other damages….should a plantiff during mediation or even direct settlement talks expect the defendant to try to not pay the full actual lost wages? How frequently do defendants agree with actual damage calculation being reasonable but argue they don’t even want to pay the full lost wages? In brief, plantiff just wants lost wages and just doesnt want to worry about other damages emotional and others. The plantiff just wants to be made whole on lost wages and put the situation behind them.

I definitely recommend speaking directly with your team, we collectively work for you and are at your disposal. The skyscrapers in New York City are okay, but they get old after a while.

i have a question pertaining to pregnancy discrimination.
I have mediation in 5 days with EEOC , I dont have representation and I'm a bit unprepared. what should my settlement price be going into mediation?
Background: I went into Family Dollar and inquired about a job application i submitted online and the manager looked me right in the face and told me i was not ready to work. I am not familiar with much of anything having to do with law but i know my rights , i asked the manager if i may record the remainder of the conversation, because i knew where it was headed and he was very cocky about it and told me go ahead . He then proceeded to tell me i was not ready for work and asked how far along pregnant I was. once i told him he made more comments referring to me not being able to work and then finally stated he didnt have anywork for 5 month pregnant women. He had employees and customers laughing at my expense and i have it all on audio video recording. Help me please.
