How I made a Bowser Shell

My son said he wanted to be Bowser for Halloween so I made him a Bowser Shell. For fun I decided to document the process so I could share the steps I took along the way in making this. I hope you enjoy!!

Thank you do much this is exactly what I needed!!! I don't have spray paint though. Do you think it will work ok, if I modge podge the entire shell I can hand paint it with acrylic paint, like you did for the white shell border?? I need to build a mask too out of Eva and gloves somehow and I'm so nervous I'll mess it up 😬🤣

Wow thank you. I am very glad you found the video useful. I think hand painting the shell after you modge podge the shell could work. Might be worthwhile testing that on a spare piece of Eva first. Good luck with the mask!

@@Hbomb411 hi. I just measured the template I made and it is 21 inches long and 4 and a half inches wide. I used a long flexible steel ruler to make the curve. I hope that helps 👍

Hi, I actually bought the mask online from a costume shop. The shell is made from a floor mat which is made from EVA foam. Glad you like the costume!

Thank you. I don't have a pattern for this. The paper template I used is about 53cm long and 12cm wide and I used a long flexible ruler to draw the curve. I made it this size so I could get the 4 shell pieces out of one floor mat. I hope this helps.
