  • This is the open box video and power testing for the carbine 50 cal hammer from Umarex.
This packs a lot of power for a short version of the Hammer.
8 Bullet weights tested and with the updated magazine I had no issues.

i love my full size Hammer. it does leak air and the factory fixed it once already. hopefully this carbine will have the bugs worked out.

Don't leave air in it when you store it ..tells you to de-gass it....valves and o-rings only have a lifespan of about 25,000hrs

Great video, very informative! You were talking about suppressors. I just got the Hammer Carbine, and a DonnyFL Great Kami. I also ordered the Hammer adapter, but it won't work with the Carbine. I'm going to call DonnyFL on Monday.

Loving my full size Hammer. All the slugs I’ve purchased from you are awesome in it. This carbine is intriguing for sure. I do have a question. I see you filling with a bottle. Did you fill the original Hammer with a bottle as well? If so how many fills did you get with it? Thanks for all you do.

Does the new magazine really stop the blast of air in your face when you shoot, like they claim or or not.

I know you’re a big bore man. I gotta ask though. Have you ever dealt with a Benjamin Kratos in 25 cal?

I think I like the carbine a bit better than the full sized gun, especially as a walking gun…

I believe the new magazines will work on previous versions, the new ones have a insert in the cavity that helps to grip the bullet

Yes, the newer mags are backwards compatible and work with previous Hammer 50 cal rifles.

I clearly see at 16:25 your tank is bent upwards into the barrel. Makes me cringe to see this abuse to what is the most dangerous/important function of any ice/cold arm / air gun. Next to what comes out the muzzle. I see this a lot with PCP air rifles where folks have a bi pod or resting their rifle on the air tank. Yikes!!!!!! Danger Close!!! Someone in the engineering dept needs to come up with a safe accurate way of allowing proper rest of these rifles.
