I was detirmined to find out so i set up this mod and did a few speedruns, the results were unexpected...

@@localcancersurvivor When Krauser talked about getting the sample, he said he “needed the sample Saddler developed”. When he said “the sample”, I always assumed it was something like a “master copy” that could be used to make more plaga, and that Saddler developed it intentionally separately from the rest of the Ganados. I guess it can be thought of like that, a master copy from which you can make more, but the other ones aren’t ripe to make more. You could also consider that the Plaga we see in the enemies are fully grown, meaning that studying them wouldn’t necessarily aid in reproduction of the parasite, and you would need its initial state.
@@whisperhawkmoonspecialist9203 but I'm pretty sure in one of the notes in Salazar's castle (correct me if I'm wrong) says that the mother plaga is the weird flower plaga that absorbs Salazar and the other verdugo (R.I.P).

"It was in your best interest to assist me!" was his thanks command. Pretty sure the line you referenced was his "I'm coming!" response to your opponent asking for help mid-grab.

Fun fact, you can _sorta_ play the campaign as Wesker in the 2007 Ubisoft PC version.
Select him in Mercenaries but then back out to the main menu and start a New Game - you’ll be playing as Wesker! Until the game crashes, of course.

Ironic and kinda poetic how with the out of bounds glitches you shaved off 7 minutes from the previous run, 'cause that's all the time he got to spare with it

Now we just need a speedrun as the greatest man around, Hunk.
Remember that he can only use his tmp so that's a major downside. A major price for neck snapping.

I actually didn't know Wesker could thrust punch on command without the prompt, it's crazy that no matter how many times I've played through this game I still learn new things about it every once in a while

Weskers playthrough should be a few shades darker.

i think one of the books(or was it a guide?) mentions that Wesker (S.T.A.R.S) did use his shades all the time EVEN INDOORS OR AT NIGHT, so yes it probably did stay on during s*x 😂😂😂.

Mods aren't technically needed for Wesker. You can select him, back out, and hit New Game. You are now Wesker until you die or reload the game.
I think that glitch was for the old port for pc
that is for the Ubisoft port and Wesker crashes the game on multiple places making it damn near impossible to finish the game, it might be actually impossible though.
Interesting how some parts are much easier with Wesker while others are much much harder. I like that because it means this speedrun isn't free cuz you're using Sexy Wesky and requires some new strats to get through it.

The year is 2056. WaifuRuns has been running Wesker runs after hearing about yet another exploit that increases his running speed. This time he's going for the Sub 30, and his diction has been entirely replaced by the words "my, last, Wesker" and "run" in lieu of his explanations or his curses. I don't think he's going to stop running Wesker any time soon.

Actually the silencer doesn't make the critical headshots happen more often, this is an old myth that is believed to this day but it was actually debunked by another CZcamsr and datamined to absolutely prove it's false. This stems from the fact that the weapon, once equipped with a silencer, has a very confusing description which started the rumour as it seems to suggest that it actually increases the likelihood of a critical hit when in actuality it does not. I myself noticed crows don't react to the handgun when silenced unless you stand extremely close making it confusing whether or not they are reacting to Leon or the gun, but if anything it DOES seem to in fact make the gun "quieter" for certain or all enemies, but I haven't tested sneaking up on Genados, perhaps a left over cut stealth mechanic we are seeing return in the remake.

I love watching speedrun progression videos. I wasn't expecting this one to be that, but I loved it
You can fix the game crashing when equipping weapons not normally available, through Raz0r's trainer, or the new trainer you can find on the Resident evil modding forms, it allows hunk to use Krauser's bow for example.
I love to think of this as a sequel to an alternate ending to Separate Ways where Ada fails her mission and now Wesker is stepping in to finish the job himself.

I remember played as wesker back then. The mod specify he only able to use handgun, killer 7 and semi auto sniper. My English is not that good back then so i kinda hated playing as him because when i equip weapon that he can't, the game will crash

I'm not sure where you got the information that the Silencer increases critical hit rate Waifu, it absolutely doesn't.
It's a commonly held misconception.
If you think about it, Wesker logically never would have gotten infected with Las Plagas because of his power and experience

p.s. the silencer doesn't actually affect crit chance it's just a waste of space.
But Wesker, unlike Krauser, needs a melee setup QTE to be able to use that melee ability. It seems unfair to be able to use it whenever you want.

You should start speedrunning vermintide 2. You know L4D2 like a god so transitioning to that game will be easy as pie for you, and if you never played it before. It would be like re-discovering L4D2 (kind of). I think you'll love it.

Use re4 ultimate trainer.. It fixes every bug while playing as wesky, krauser and hunk

I don't know what kind of mods you're using, but if you just use a cheat to replace Leon with Wesker the melee he's gonna use on Verdugo when you froze it is gonna be Leon's roundhouse BUT with the damage output of Thrust Punch. With this he'll do a ton of damage with the kick and Verdugo will die with the 4th kick.
The same applies to Krauser.
The silencer does not increase the cupritical hit chance the gun does since it has the exclusive

Salazar was my favorite and shortest fight in my normal run.
I sniped his weak spot, revealing him inside the monster and shot his core with the RPG. He died immediately

Most of Wesker’s movement and weapon animations seem to be the same as Leon’s
I remember doing this on PS2 after I ran out of ways to replay the game. With cheats, you could change the characters models and use the mercenaries in the campaign, but they would glitch during the calls with Hunnigan, so you had to skip them very fast. Also Ada would litearlly split in half after using the sniper rifle lol. With Krauser, he couldn't jump across gaps, so I had to use walk through walls only for those sections and the bow was a no-no, so it was kinda hard. Never finished the game with Hunk, cause I would run out of bullets during the Salazar battle. On PC it's so much easier lol
