- Adam Montgomery, the father of 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery, was sentenced Thursday to at least 56 years in prison for killing her about two years before she was reported missing by her mother in 2021.

How in the hell was he granted custody of Harmony? He shot someone in the face and a judge said he should be able to have custody of his daughter
I'd love to know the judge's name that gave him custody, instead of the foster parents or brother's family.
Yes why was this convict allowed to have custody of his daughter. It is very clear that he is violent and shouldn't be around children. Absolutely unbelievable that he had custody. Also CPS was not doing it's job. This little girl was five years old and was not enrolled in school. That should have been checked on by CPS. This little girl may be alive right now if CPS followed up and checked on this child. Adams uncle called CPS when Harmony had a black eye that was very swollen. CPS waited like a week or so and then they checked and when they saw Harmony her eye was just a little bit red. So utterly ridiculous how Adam was able to get away with this.

This creep has a long rap sheet, yet he was released time and again. Must be due to overcrowding. I've seen this type of thing happen way too many times.

I'm still shocked that Kayla was given a deal when she witnessed him beat his daughter didn't try and get help carrying her poor dead body all over making another baby with him with her body above them rotting !! I mean it's sick and she deserves too be locked up too ...

Not a care in the world as he stands there. I hope he gets what’s coming to him. Her mother was trying to get straight actually trying and this fool was just on and on committing more crimes and was given his daughter??? Mom tried to report her missing and she was pushed off ?!? Uncle reported abuse but “slipped through the cracks”. This case is just as much on the state. He should have never had her. She was thriving in foster care 😢. Harmony will always have a special place in my heart. 💔

I noticed that too, especially when the prosecution asked where Harmony's body was and would ask for 35 years instead of 45.

hes been in prison for 3 years for harmony and clarly hasnt been touched , someone needs to inform the cell mates
You know nothing about New Hampshire state prison. That prison is soft. Most of the people in there doing life are scared of losing their rec time or their jobs. He's not gonna get touched by anyone. I did 5 years there and it's a summer camp.
Let's just hope this man gets prison justice. He will then get a little taste of what he did to his own daughter

All those charges and he was out free in public and he did not stay in jail if he would have stayed in jail Harmony would have been alive put the law sometimes it's not fair

He's been given way more chances than he deserves! Why he is even allowed to live among us.. blows my mind. The people ( judges, bail bondsmen, probation boards etc) that allowed this evil discusting creature his freedom, after his bible size rap sheet, probably feel no guilt or responsibility at all.
