Where is Martin Luther? While there had been rumblings against the Catholic Church before, it wasn't until Luther nailed his 95 Theses on the door that the stranglehold the Roman Church had on Western Europe was broken, opening up opportunities for all the other other non-Roman churches. While the Church of England dumped the Pope but kept most of the theology of the Roman church, Luther and his followers, and others inspired by him, changed how people saw their relationship with God as well as their relationship with their church.

Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 0:55 After watching Joan of Arc die, Baron Gilles de Rais (character played by Vincent Cassel) became one of the worst serial killers in history of the world. Baron Gilles de Rais was one of her companion-in-arms who tried his best to free innocent Joan of Arc from her wrongful execution, but failed. After she died, he renounced his Christian faith and turned into a monster who Joan was accused of. He became a notorious demon conjuring occultist who ended up killing more than 140 people. He was sentenced to death by simultaneous burning and hanging, and the punishment was carried out in Nantes on October 26, 1440.

Mother Teresa also had some, let's say, difficult views on topics such as women rights, abortion etc.. So... I think her possibly big positive influence is seen a little bit more in connection to the zeitgeist she lived in. One can ask if her real motif wasn't rather to proselytize than to help.
