      Google world oil reserves, it list the breakdown of all countries. Those at the top are journeying into the territories of those at the bottom. Critical thought here if the bottom offer up their resources when they are diminished the top will still be on top. In other words- you sell all yours to me then if you now need who will you have to buy from aka . I got my money back

    Venezuela has never occupied the Essequibo and nor was it ever part of their country. They're claiming Grand Columbia once held the territory and therefore they're entitled to Columbian land which isn't true in the least bit. Guyana is a free nation and they already acknowledged all of the country before switching positions decades later. This why in the joint border regions of Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela all 3 flags exist marking the boundaries.

    Evans, the British imported Indians to Guyana after African descendants who were slaves fought the British army for their freedom. The Indians came as indentured servants and were given acres of land for their services. As for the land issue, it is a non-issue. Guyana and Venezuela have always co-existed. In fact, both countries have always helped each other during hard times. This is blown out of proportion because of U.S. sanctions.

      I would rather use the word Ambitions. Sanctions are merely a means to an end. I foresaw Guyana as the new South Africa for the descendents of slaves. Thank you God for this intervention. May the people of Venezuela and Guyana live in peace and joint prosperity. We ask God to guide our leaders in the right path.

    • @andremurray47
      @andremurray47 Před měsícem +4

      @@jecinasema5190 I don't think so. Most of the Indians in Guyana get along with blacks and socialize together. Mostly it is a political divide. I think President Ali is trying his best to bridge the divide, but probably will face a lot of opposition.

The President of Guyana President Ali fell for all the half truths and omissions. I fell sorry for him. Loss of faith is a bitter pill. CARICOM will continue to support President Ali and Guyana in a meaningful way.

    I think it was around 1837 or 37, the ending of slavery in the british colonies, plantation owners needed cheap labours because the newly emancipated slaves now required compensation for their labour. A planter in Guyana schemed with evil british politicians to start the indentured servitude with indians from calcutta, i believe it was. Eventually indians were introduced in all british colonies all over the world, under very austere conditions. This was slavery by another name. If there is a god, the Europeans must pay for the many crimes they have committed against the indigenous population of the world
