Dear Ms. Woodard, If you read these comments, please know that you were, and are, an inspiration to me. I was so very fortunate to have attended Central Junior High School in Lawrence. Apparently I fared well enough in my studies that I was one of the students who had the luxury of attending a luncheon in which you spoke in 1984. Albeit you may not remember all of your speeches, one line specifically rang true for me and that was, "If it's to be, it's up to me." . I LITERALLY have lived my life via those words you spoke. Unfortunately, I have terminal breast cancer but I am not ready to go yet The good Lord has kept me around for my testimony and I believe He will work through me to bring others to Him. I just wanted to thank you for what you may have considered simple words but for what I have remembered all of my life.Truly,Sabrina Price/Neacy
