Based on the recent Kyuranger episode, I think I'm at that point where I have to defend Lucky as I think he gets too much hate and gets compared to Takaharu too often. One difference between them is that Lucky says his catchphrase, the context actually makes sense as he indeed gets lucky often. This is however, an integral part to his character and the main point of his development in some episodes as well and at least is given a sort of pseudo reason why he has that much luck (protagonist immunity). Lucky's actor is also much better than Takaharu's because he is much more capable of conveying emotion in scenes like when he gets depressed that he lost his luck or from the latest episode, how strongly he feels towards Tsurugi. I think people hating him for something as shallow as his catchphrase at this point in the series is about as moot as people hating Ex-Aid for it's designs. I hope your opinion on Lucky has changed a little bit or at least not view him as bad as Takaharu :(

I agree with what you said about the show for the most part with one exception, the villains. While I agree that they are bad as villains, I find them to be very entertaining and loved watching them. Except for Tau Zant, he was just awful.
Great video guys! Mostly I have the same thoughts about Hurricanger as you. The plot was weak, just like the villains, but the ranger side saved the show. The chemistry was on point, and it gave the season a good vibe. All the cameos and movies are solid proof that the audience loved them. Dekaranger got the same treatment from the pre-2010's show's so far, and I'm eager to see another 10 Year Anniversary like movie with Boukenger or Gekiranger.
As for some recommendation: you could do a Top 10 Sentai Henshin BGM or Kamen Rider Insert song/Final Form Theme Song list. It was quite a while ago that you guys did a music related list. If you need it, I can send you like the songs necessary in order to do the video.

Hurricaneger is a great sentai not a fan of power rangers😊
I enjoyed Hurricanger a lot. Need more ninjas like them.
Perhaps you guys could pitch your own ideas for your own super sentai or kamen rider for 2k subscribers.
You guys must have had a different experience than I had when watching Hurricanger. Even though it has Shurikenger, a good cast and morphing/henshin sequence and one of the overall themes being how hatred can be your downfall if not taken care of, this series was an absolute chore to watch. The fight coordination is sub-par by rookie ninja standards, the pacing and overall moments took way too long when it should've been resolved in a shorter amount of time (e.g. the roll call and the Hurricaneger vs Goraiger episodes!), our main cast took forever to improve their character and fighting tactics even when they start as three and the ninja skills and gadgets are tragically underutilized. Even in giant robot form they seemed too incompetent to take care of the enemies they faced, even in the later episodes. Their Power Ranger counterpart in Ninja Storm took care of the vast majority of Hurricaneger's situations a lot better, even the decent episodes, and I wished I used the time I watched Hurricaneger to watch Megaranger and Dairanger. :(
Oh well, I'll be looking forward to watching Gekiranger, Shinkenger, Dekaranger and Gokaiger when Shout Factory localizes it!
I agree with you 100%. Hurricanger is so boring and it waste so much time on crying for characters that I dont give af/ I know they are going to come back somehow later on.
I just started hurricaneger so I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this but am sad that it doesn't improve. Like people hype this as the best ninja sentai and to me its the worst because the story bland and the main rangers are indistinguishable and has been hard for me to continue since I don't care about the main characters
I saw a clip of the power rangers version of hurricaneger I laughed so hard at it but it was close to hurricaneger though wouldn't watch the power rangers version huge sentai fan if you didnt like this sentai I would suggest kakuranger 😊

I really enjoyed this season the main characters are alright and I disagree with the villains I really liked them and thought they were entertaining besides zau tant my favorite being sandau it’s also my first sentai I watched and also I think lother from ninja storm is fun

i only recently found out about tokusatsu and Hurricaneger is my first series. I felt like the story was really strong especially the whole thing with Gozen, im not sure if i got lucky and the first series I chose was really solid. Thinking to watch a Kamen Rider next and see how things compare. (Actually seeing people complain about this gives me high hopes, if THIS is BAD...)

Hurricaneger this show is fine but average. I did like some spots and certain characters made me watch. But I feel like this show was over compensating for stuff especially with the Jakinaja as villains. I'm not going to lie, I feel like Hurricaneger dragged.

I hate this show so much. I just finished it and wow, what a piece crap. Characters, story, pacing, everything is so wrong and so boring with this show. Having said that, at least is not abaranger, I'll give them that.
