Everyone can say whatever they want but Toqger was the last plot heavy Sentai of the Heisei era.
Bingo. It had a really good plot por a series who look aimed to toddlers. I mean, the suits suck, It was reaaaally a bad design in suits and mechas. I like the gimmick, but gosh, the suits are al plain.
@@maciekwucow3989 I beg to differ. Kyuranger had barely a plot, who is "bad guys won and have an space Empire, and the Rangers are the Resistance". Basically, the original Star Wars. Lucky's "he is an space prince!" arc didn't help to the general plot or his status of Gary Stu.
I don't know how many people keep defending Lucky and not put him in the same position as Daigo or Takaharu. I sincerely I believe he reached that level of awfulness.

Personality-wise, I saw Right as the optimist. Hungry, yes, but almost always seeing the best in a given situation.
Tokachi is a rule follower who feels the need to show respect (thus the low bow during the roll-call). He feels inadequate at first as he's not as strong a fighter as Mio or Hikari and he doesn't have as strong an imagination as Right or Kagura - but he is reliable. Most of the time. When he's not being clumsy.
Mio is a no-nonsense sort of girl who hides her creativity, probably because she's embarrassed to show it off. But it is there, as shown when Mikey is unleashed. While she has a tendency to try to keep everyone on track (pun intended) she is also supportive of the others to a fault.
Hikari is more than a guy with a Kendama - like Mio he's no-nonsense, but he's also the tough guy. Rather than charge into battle, he likes to strategize and look for his enemy's attack patterns & weaknesses. His imagination is more restrained than Right's, as he needs to see something to base his imagination upon.
Kagura is a bit of a scaredy-cat, though not one to abandon her friends during a fight. Yes, she'll run from her enemies and get backed into a corner, but that forces her to use her imagination to pump herself up figuratively speaking. Although this can cause her to completely disregard her limits and blind her to what's going on around her.
Of the six, Akira is the one I can identify with - he regrets the misdeeds of his past life and will lay down his current life if necessary to protect his new inspiration. This comes to a conclusion during the crossover with Ninninger when instead of saying, "This is the place where I die" he says, "This is the place where I do my job." and proceeds to kick as much ass as before, but probably with the realization that if he does die, he'll no longer be able to protect his inspiration.
Sorry if that was a bit long-winded and too in-depth, but that's how I see the core characters.
This show is one of my favorite I approve this whole series they went out of there way on this one guys
Whatever you guys say, Toqger was a very funny and intriguing Sentai in the Neo-Heisei era.
Love this season, so underrated

Btw. Hikari is the "Brain", he had the detective episodes.
The Kendama detective episode was brilliant. I loved the side plot-thread where Ticket didn't know why the Conductor was role-playing as the Kendama Detective's boss, even going as far as to drink wine from a comically over-sized glass.

If toqger got adapted do you think the shadow monsters & crows would have kept their names similar to how the orgs did when gaoranger was adapted into wild force?
I actually enjoyed ToQger more than I thought due to my bias of loving trains, it's really fun with some dark twists, even though it absolutely had its flaws.
Also, one of the best finale to end the ride. It's one of the shows I'll rank at higher places of mid-tier shows, not my favorite but I definitely enjoyed.

Toqger : FANTASTIC Villain design. FANTASTIC Grunt design, after a funny and comedy beginning - the plot is crazy in the later episodes. Akira is my favorite 6th ranger because is a fucking Idiot.

All the aesthetics and gimmicks in the show ties back to the theme very nicely. It also makes sense because the characters are actually--

This is an A Tier Season. I genuinely think it is a better show than Changeman and maybe even Shinkenger. Well I'd say it en par with Shinkenger

the combining sequences were cool but the way they looked was not that great the villains were interesting well some this had potential but feel was to goofy at times tho it did show the power of imaginnation and the music not bad
Ressha= Express and densha=train as far as I know
2:30 kyoryuger mostly filler? That's bullshit 90% of episodes have some degree of plot progression
I was actually off in the video. Ressha is just the train itself, but doesn't say what it's moved by. Densha is electric train. For reference, Kisha is a steam powered train.

Ahh, Toqger, the Sentai that people make out to be way worse than it actually is....Toqger is disappointing, yes, but people don't seem to give it as much credit as it should've. It still had a pretty compelling and unique story with the team being kids.
I will NEVER for the life of me understand why Kagura has the 2nd strongest imagination instead of the 1st, just cuz Right is the main protagonist....Kagura LITERALLY CONVINCES HERSELF SHE IS OTHER THINGS....How is she not the best at this?!! She has the feats....!
The way you described ToQger can also be said for Goseiger.
