The Xi'an have the same thing with MISC.
They looked at spindle cargo mounts and went 'holy shit that's a good idea.' While MISC looked at swivel thrusters and thought the same thing. So Aopoa and MISC started collaborating.
I LOVE that someone is doing this. I really heavily enjoy people doing "audiobooks" of the material surrounding the game so I can actually do something while fangirling on this kind of stuff

Thanks so much for condensing the lore of Star Citizen into 15mins! It’s videos like this that should be on the official Ark page. So much easier to digest than lots of separate pages there. Am very interested to see the Tevarin video, when competed.
OUCH Military and Government aren't separated. That's a recipe for disaster. At least if history and present day are any indicator.

Do you think there's Vanduul that hunt solo, Yautja/Predator style?
That would be a great enemy. Loot a bunker just to find all security dead, the elevator is up and you hear the faint sound of footsteps creeping up behind you.
Then a nice stabbing animation with a randomly generated custom vanduul knife and that's the last time you tried to grind in bunkers in a System with Vanduul presence
Vanduul seem to be a pack/tribe species similar to humanity. I don't doubt they might fight solo as they are an individualist species, seeking individual glory but for recognition of their feats among the larger species.
Ima going to form my own kingdom.

Love these lore series of videos you put out. Saves me having to wade through thousands of lines of text on spectrum trying to figure out where my character arc sits and so on.
Would definitely love to dig more into the politics and economics of the various species, definitely see my character, if we have to play as humans, being more of a centralist and Xi'an leaning personality with a thirst for finding those prize gems like the Banu's. But we'll see as the lore continues to get fleshed out.

Its hard to imagine an advanced alien civilization without the same physical characteristics as humans.
Convergent evolution will presumably mean a humanoid body structure is the most capable of creating a civilization.

Lore is the background universe of any fictional universe, the stuff that the stories of games, tv, and movie franchises sit on top of.

UEE Common yes, but English isn't UEE Common. UEE Common is a different language all together it's just easier to describe as English for the majority English speaking audience right now.

350 mil and they cant hire someone with an imagination…humanoid aliens???…that wear human clothes?!?! Wtf?!
That is a very lazy response to the issue, money isn't really an issue here as much as time. They want these alien ships to be able to be piloted by humans and making them 12 tentacle squid monsters wouldn't allow for that. On top of that trying to tell a story which most people can relate to, especially when it comes to sentient aliens, it's easier to make them humanoid in order to both communicate and emote easier.
In the end it's a game, and taking drastic steps to make aliens more 'realistic' (what ever that actually means since we don't know what aliens actually look like IRL if they do exist) makes the game less approachable and harder to develop. Saying they lack imagination is kind of a shit take when you consider the technical aspects of the game they are making.

I'm not into kids fantasy or harry potter or whatever that mass effect garbage is. Star Citizen doesn't even show the galactic plane in space. Like NO ONE working at Star Citizen knows the first thing about space.
