Can I just say that I actually really enjoy the “harsh” things you say. Sometimes I need to hear it! I’ve been having some anxiety this week and I know I’ve been lazy. I know if I choose not to be lazy, it will actually help my anxiety. Sometimes we do the wrong thing even when we know what’s right. It’s good to have friends who will point it out. It helps us grow. I respect you Tabitha for saying “harsh” things. You are doing it to help others, not yourself. It shows your integrity in my opinion.

I want to thank you for adding in the part about mental and physical illness. I have struggled so badly in these areas and felt so overwhelmed with trying to keep up. Your thoughtful and gracious way of sharing truth today was a blessing.
That's very true, I was also fascinated, and so glad she mentioned it. It was very thoughtful and considerate and with wisdom. I was touched by that element.
this was so needed. it reminds me of when Jesus went to the house with the 2 women and one was busy running around while the other was at his feet. and He told the busy woman (in so many words) that she had her priorities out of order. if our relationship with God isn't top priority it needs to be!

We spend so much time taking care of THINGS. Some "laziness" is our spirit's exhaustion in dealing with this materialistic world. We are not meant to spend out days putting up things, organizing things, polishing things, repairing things, etc. We have become bogged down. Once in this trap, it is difficult to escape.
This video was very timely for me. I'm currently 8 months pregnant so struggling to keep up physically with household chores. I felt quite convicted while listening that doesn't mean I would be spiritually lazy. I have increasingly started choosing social media and TV over my Bible study, prayer time and other things that would glorify God. Thank you for your honesty and direct approach to this topic x

I came to this video thinking it would counsel me or provide some sort of reassurance on how I’ve been feeling about a close friend of mine. She seems so neglectful, lazy and sloth-like. It really is bothering me because I love her but also because I overwork myself all day every day. So I feel annoyed and upset with her lack of house work, lack of self care, and lack of attention when it comes to her family members. Guess what I realized from this video - I am spiritually lazy. There is more I could be doing to spend more time with God. He loves me and wants the best for me. I have work to do within myself. Thank you for this video ❤

I have adhd and pots syndrome ( autoimmune issue) its so hard to even physically and mentally get out of bed. I ordered a pdf cleaning schedule off of etsy for adhd and made sure I planned out the days based on our schedule. I was able to do it all even with my son feeling sick and now he has bacterial pneumonia. Please pray for my sons and and my daughter as they recover and that I get rest tonight 🙏 Shalom Yahweh bless you and keep you in Yeshua's name 🙏
I am a daughter of Jesus but I must confess I've had some spiritual laziness. Ty for helping me to see this.
I am also like that but if we overcome that laziness .. a holy energy will come into our body.. Now whenever I feel not to pray I take the Bible and read it ..

Same. Yesterday I ordered a cleaning schedule list off of etsy. I left the smaller stuff for before and after shabbat, so I can still have a rest day. Really helpful 👌
"If your family doesn't appreciate what your doing, if the people around you aren't believers, you can rest assured that your God sees what you're doing and he is happy to have a relationship with you" ❤🥺 I have a 3 year old son, both of my parents have stage 4 cancer, and I've been in and out of hospitals for the past month. I've been struggling to maintain the house as a result, but I've truly been working so hard to clean and tidy up whenever I am home. Yet, my husband tells me "you do nothing around the house". It breaks my heart when he doesn't acknowledge the current season I'm in as well as how much work I still do around the house. He also isn't a believer. So what you said at the end brought me to tears. I'm so thankful for a living God who acknowledges the love I put into my family and home, even when my husband doesn't.
Bless your heart! I will be in prayer for you and your family. I know the pain of having a parent with a life threatening illness and the death of a parent, as well as the pain of having a critical husband. God sees it all and he knows your heart, effort and worth in his eyes. Focus your eyes on Jesus and he will lift you up. I'm so sorry for what you are going through and I will pray for God's approval to be enough so you can still show love and a contented spirit to your husband in the midst of criticism. ❤️

THIS!!! I wish I would have had this message 20 years ago! I still have my ups and downs but praying away my bipolar disorder/eating disorder just was not working... instead God directed me towards recovery with doctors, treatments, medication and a sober life. God does not always answer prayers the way we want. I love how you address that it is our responsibility to seek help and I am even further blessed that when I start to struggle God and my husband give grace.

Thank you sister. I found out last year I was fighting depression and didn't know it. It was because of medication I was put on after my mom died that was supposed to keep me from being depressed. I still struggle with it and my anxiety but God is what helps me conquer it. One of my prayers was answered yesterday after 3 years of prayer. God doesn't always answer prayers when you want Him to. He answers them on His time. And I am blessed that you popped up in my recommendations. Take care sister and God bless you all ❤
I used to keep my home immaculate until my mom passed. I used to look down on others who didn't. Now I see there are many other reasons people are unable to organize their homes, lives, businesses ect. We need to help others not judge them & if it offends someone because they don't see the "chaos" at least you offered a hand instead of pointing a finger :).

I enjoy watching your videos. I like to use my time wisely, and I don't want to be known as a sloth. I try to be as productive as possible. I have arthritis, so some days I wake up feeling sore and achy. Although I may wake up feeling sore I don't allow that to slow me down. Again, thank you.
I really loves these new videos. Not only are the motivational, but inspiring. They are calm and help me feel like I'm not a failure. I have fallen into a spiritual laziness. I have recently started going to church again. Trying to do what God wants me to do. Trying to become a better person. Thank you so much for making me feel better about myself. I love dresses too.

Hi, I just discovered your channel and I am so thankful! It seems you understand the very same issues I have and I too seek a close relationship with God and not having known many Catholics, I am surprised, how that as a Christian believer in the Baptist denomination we are so much alike! I also love coffee, dresses and watching my chickens, but God has unfortunately not blessed me with children. I live in a home of non believers thank you for that sentence you just said that makes me feel better because I had given up on my home.
I am really finding your messgaes on laziness interesting yet challenging. I am really convicted! Since i started watching your homemaking videos and changing my mindset to "serving my family," it really has changed things. Thank you for this video. I’ve battled with depression and anxiety for so many years. I can remember having issues as a little girl. I am 55 now. I have been healed from Stage Two Esophageal Cancer. I have always had health problems. And I still do. I am so thankful to God that He healed me from cancer. I just pray that he will heal my mind of my mental issues. Also that He will heal my body of all my other health problems. I do pray and read my Bible. I really need help to stop being lazy about reading my Bible and going to church. I’m not giving Satan any glory but when I need to be going to church and reading my Bible more he makes me tired or sick. My prayers to God is that He will stop Satan from attacking me in these areas. Please pray for me. I really do appreciate all the prayers and support from you and all your other viewers. I want you to know you have been a blessing to me I started watching just for back ground noise while I'm doing school work but God started talking or yelling as I refer to it bc he knows he's gotta draw the pic and color it in for me to understand. He has used you to answer so many questions. Truly eye opening this reminds me of Mary and Martha and I must confess I been playing the Martha for a while now but not by choice for it would be wonderful to just sit down like Mary and leave all my cares to someone else in a perfect world perhaps, but this is food for thought, who knows I might just learned the art of being more like Mary and leave the cleaning to someone else, you know more relax with it.

I've never thought of laziness that way before. I agree when I pray and study scriptures I feel closer to heavenly father and I feel him more his peace his love his understanding so much more than I can put into words. I pray everyday for the holy ghost to dwell in my house so I can hear him better so I can have peace. For a long time I didn't understand the true feeling of peace and now I'm beginning to understand it more and more. I'm not saying it's easy there are days I'm so exhausted I can hardly move and the pain in my body is so much that I don't want to move, that's when I get his strength and peace to continue on with my day. I enjoyed both of your videos on the topic of laziness. I love the way you shared your struggles and that you are not perfect. When you mentioned that you treat your ADHD naturally, what do you use and take naturally? And the others you have mentioned. Hope you can share how you treat yourself naturally. God continue blessing you in what he has called you to do and encouraging, us homemakers.
I definitely believe that acknowledging God in our everyday lives, showing gratitude and even saying it out loud and thank God for what he's done, + slowing down in our every day lives are all big missing factors. Thank you for this video!

I want to encourage those who are retired. I retired during Covid from teaching. At the same time I bought a home and moved. I have no family here and I was physically and emotionally exhausted. Listen to your body without condemnation, take a nap, and tackle something where you can see the biggest difference. Take one room at a time and then reward yourself by taking a walk or talking with a friend. Buy a new magazine to get inspired and of course keep your time with the Lord!

Watched while I tidied up the kitchen and packed the kids lunches for camp. I continue to feel very encouraged in my vocation as a homemaker and working mom.
The readings and message this week at Mass were so helpful, too. Laying your burdens on Jesus and taking us His yoke. Wow! As a mom who has to work FT outside the home and try to be a good homemaker, the struggle is real, but I CAN hand the struggle to Him. I just have to CHOOSE to do so and trust in Him.
Between Mass yesterday and your video, I’m ready to lean into the Lord and tackle the week ahead with so much love and gratitude in my heart ❤

I am so thankful to see other women like myself who serve the Lord and diligently look after their homes and kids. I have a routine I do every week whether I feel to or not. Even when I don’t feel well I get up and try. It feels so good to have a clean and well organized home to be in. You create a space of love for others. This along with making time for God each day and in moments when you do work, gives a sense of peace and a continuous focus on why we are here on earth. Blessings

Your videos are quite refreshing and a tad shocking I myself was raised up traditional Roman Catholic and I never heard a Catholic speak about Jesus and as much about Jesus as you do which is wonderful
We were not even allowed to see the Bible much less read it
I am no longer a traditional Roman Catholic as I was born again by grace through faith in Jesus Christ back in 2010 when I believed the gospel which is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ

I have a herniated disc and have been unable to do my normal routine for 3 months, it was driving me crazy. But God has taught me to let go, to let my family help me, to teach them more responsibility, to teach me more patience, contentment, and appreciation of my family.

I thank the Holy Spirit for His conviction and not condemnation! When I feel overwhelmed I say out loud, “This is NOT that hard! The devil is a liar. I can do this! With the help of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit!!” The truth is most things that feel overwhelming are not hard at all to do. I also make myself commit to doing something for 10 minutes. I’ll listen to a sermon or Christian music. Once I get started I often do more than 10 minutes but even if I don’t it’s amazing what you can get done in 10 minutes and you feel better for sure. I have chronic health problems that include fatigue, lightheadedness and dizziness. But I also find that on the days I have to get up and do something I do better. Thank you for your encouragement!! If you ever felt up to it, I would love to hear how you healed yourself naturally from depression, tips for how you handle ADHD, and, if you have any advice as well on managing/dealing with Mom guilt. How do you deal with Mom guilt, devotions, still get done all of the homemaking tasks that need to be done, as well as having time for husband and kids. I know it’s all a balance, but with 3, 3 and under, I’m struggling. 😊

Wow I needed this Sword of truth....it hurt so good... it just made me cry out to the Lord. Within a few days of stress, I had not read my Bible, and I usually do every morning and night. I got so discouraged and angry bc my husband wouldn't listen to me. I realized I was not hearing from God. Bc he said, "Do I ever fail you?" when you start speaking of laziness. Man will fail ...But her never does. Thank you , God definitely put you in my feed bc I have never watched your videos ever. Thank you... my husband walked in the kitchen and heard this video about laziness while I was eating my lunch at 3:30 pm. Please keep posting and reinforcing people's anchors for Christ. Christ is the anchor always, but you repaired a rusty link in my chain today. How can I pray for you, specifically? God truly bless you and your family.

I have an 18 month old who is like my shadow and his favourite thing is to ‘unfold’ folded laundry and run after my vacuum cleaner shouting ‘hooooovvver’ and getting annoyed if he doesn’t get to push it 🙈 I am a new Christian also and definitely needed to hear about praying more!
