Little heads up about the islands in the sky you see now and then. They have lillypads of fertility which are auto bone meal in an area that seems to effect anything that can grow. Get a few of them and even a small farm is nuts.

Functional storage is turning out to be a life saver this pack. The jank you can pull with dumping things into a controller that is linked to drawers all over the place is great.
Yeah 100% What's the limit on the controller tho? Meaning how far can it see a drawer? I did also see something called a controller extender in there as well. Possibly that helps to push the limits?
@@TubeAndKnuckle I think 8 blocks for each. But with the extenders that limit doesn’t mean much.

I've been carrying around fish in my backpack while out exploring trying to find him but to no avail yet. Yet being the keyword here cause who else is gonna run these trains?!?!?
4:57 - you see depleted return doesn't mean earning less;
for example having 1 produces 100% and having 2 drops them to 75%.
you're still extracting 150% from the same tree, so for the sake of compactness maybe it's still worth it to have more than one.
you just need to be carefull to not actually be receiving less.
They really should tell you that you get the redstone seed back if it fails. It totally looks like a loss in JEI but it’s always 3 redstone once you get three successes. It just takes a lot of skystone sometimes. It’s 1.33 redstone to get 3 though…so… I’ve mostly just used a whole room of clerics to supplement my strip mining. I feel like the rates are kind of garbage.

Also whatever you do find some of the right color corundum. Messing with converting it is a huge huge pain in the butt and takes your rate down by a third.
I haven't messed with any of the corundum stuff yet. But if you think some of this stuff could use some tweaking it seems that the developers of this pack are VERY approachable and willing to make some changes to it. Hit them up in their Discord. Another set of eyes on things never hurts...

the extractors while there is a dimensioning return 4 of them still produce faster than 1 on a tree.
How do you like this mod compared to Create Above and Beyond, it seem quite similiar just with a different spin.
So far this modpack is 100% worth playing! It starts out very similar to CAB. But then takes it's own route after the first couple of Chapters. It makes unique uses of some of the new stuff that was added by the Create Mod as well. Gives you reasons to setup trains if that is your thing. Also introduces some unique mechanics like the respawning skystone shown in this video which will come in handy in later episodes.

@@TubeAndKnuckle I have yet to crack the Create code. I think it would help if I played it. My GF used to say my gaming was childish. She stopped doing that when she realized calling me childish, made me immediately look at her boobs and grin.
Is it still lagy or not u can have simple storage by using tinker+create. Make vault that what ever size u want and put ur items there. And tinkers construct have crating station that connect storage blocks and have craftng potential. Like storage bus from applied energistic. When i used it last time it was messing up with inventory
I haven't tried it in this pack but in the past I had similar issues where stuff would just disappear. Not sure if that has been rectified.
@TubeAndKnuckle yeah I tried it today and totally mess. Instead use integrated dynamic storage with vault it works fine

But I've menaged, to pay, atention this time and I can say that unles they update the pack, DON'T turn on the machine for the redstone cristal!
There is something similar in RLcraft with a gamble-pickaxe. It gives you the same chance to double the mined blocks.
The result is as you said it "losing money". Don't rush yourself with it.

your videos are very good and funny 😂😂😂, I don't know if you've seen them but there are also other meteors similar to Skystone's on the map but that generate Create ores that can be processed in the Crushing wheel to generate infinite ores, these are the other four Catalysts
Ohh nice! I was unaware that there is more catalysts out there. I like it! A true reason to setup some trains! Now that I can finally make crushing wheels we'll have a way to process that stuff too.

Thanks darknewt! It's nice to hear that. But I honestly don't have any plans for the near future to start up a Patreon or anything similar. I do however have a twitch channel under the same name and if you drop that channel a follow. I've been thinking about starting up that stream again sometime soon for just a music and chill Minecraft vibe, no feet cam feed if that's what your looking for..... 🤣

theres a bit of a janky way around trains using warp scrolls and portals from Ars if trains arent your thing. though, i have a feeling they might be.
