That truck’s gonna look good on the dominator trail.
Ha, that would be some Whistling Diesel stuff wouldn't it?
Shots fired..
@bleepinjeep to be fair, to break the things that you have broken while sending it takes a level of 'doing it for the gram' thats pretty high. I think part of the Bleepin Jeep appeal is knowing that you are going to throw Mechanical Sympathy right out of the window.
It's the 'It probably isn't going to make it... so your saying there's a chance!' mentality. It makes for great entertainment.
My brother and I restored my dads 1953 BMW R51/3 motorcycle. Unfortunately he had passed years earlier. I wish we could have shared it with him. Much respect to you and Josh for your effort, I'm sure your dad will be grateful for the effort more than you know!
"You're whisper yelling"
"The neighbors are over there"
"so"
😂 I've day dreamt about recording CZcams videos, and this is one of my biggest fears. The neighbors hearing me out of context 😅
Lol i still get a bit embarrased talking to myself in the front yard or driveway. I moved a couple years ago too and had to re adjust to new neighbors being like wth he doing? 😂
😎🤙
The door card clip was great.
Definitely put the bottom guard on the Bull bar
The back up light debacle was great!
Radiator combs work well. Mine has about 5 different ones for different width radiators. Dont use it often but when needed it is priceless.
With all the older Toyotas I've owned, I always got some roll-on rubber coating and rolled two coats in the inner fenders, where you were saying looks dirty now that everything else is new. I mainly did it because I hated hearing little rocks and dirt that came off the tires hitting that bare metal, but it also looked much better being black. His truck looks awesome! You two have done an amazing job on it, I know your dad is going to love it.
Your Dad is going to Love all the hard work you all have put into this truck. Great Build 🎉
thanks!
On your Comanche Jeep you could upgrade your windshield by putting a windshield from a newer Cherokee 96 with a newer rubber gasket. You would have to grind off the old studs for the old metal trim. The older glass is slightly larger than the newer glass So you have to use the 96 glass to accommodate the new rubber trim.
The horn segment of this reassembly of the truck reminds me of the music maker brand General Lee Horn we had on one of our cars as a kid.
I love the part where you acting like you were watching fab brats😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I laughed so hard till I started crying. The whole skit was great😂😂😂
I love that Cadillac Grey. Much nicer than black. Thanks for saving another classic Toyota. I am not a fan of new trucks so a renewed old one is the best thing.
Stick a small piece of paper over the socket and force the nut into it. It will hold doing what you did on the bumper for the light fixture.
Love the videos and what you’ve done to your Dads truck 🛻❤️🙏😎🤙
Great idea
With... Either way, PapaBleepin's gonna be over the moon with it.
I had the 89 version of that truck, with the v-6. Absolutely loved it. Although later I started buying F-250s for the room, that truck was undoubtedly the best truck I've ever owned.
More and more awesome every episode!! Can't wait to see it out in the sunlight with that awesome paint job. Thank you for sharing
More to come! It's almost done then we will reveal it to him in April
It's a bumpy road with y'all! I've had a lot of ups and downs with time to watch your channel, but when I see an episode, it's shockingly great!
Welcome back! Stop leaving us.
You guys are doing a great job on it. And it is for your pops. That’s why you are doing it.
I LOVE that color on pop's pickup! Great choice guys....
Hey Matt and Josh, hope all is well with y'all and good chatting with you at Jeep Invasion. For those pits in the fiberglass topper, you can use Capiseal powder. It is a silica powder/filler that mixes with fiberglass resin to fill pits and gaps in fiberglass parts, you can mix it to any consistency you need. It is harder to work down than bondo/body filler but it bonds to the original fiberglass much better with little to no chance of cracking or separation. I have about 25+ years in fiberglass repair, and custom mold design. Obviously, you already have the topper done but I wanted to drop this in for future reference if needed. Y'all have a great day!
I wish…. My 94 RAM 2500 4x4 5.9 could just get the rust fixed … love that truck !
You gents are doing fantastic work. I bet none would have been possible without Hope.
ps suck it mcfly
Whew… That's turning out nice. Nice details. Thanks, guys. Your Dad is gonna flip.
Great job everyone ! Just missing a front license plate that reads " my toy yoda " 🤔
Dads truck is coming along great. So awesome that you are doing all this for him.
Thanks 👍
Hoooooooo yerrrrrrrr that paint is Fantastic 😮 nice job josh 👍 matt i think you’re dad is going to be a little overwhelmed when he gets it back 😃
At the end there the lunch lady sounds like the general. Lol
well she is the boss for sure!
@@bleepinjeep you are a lucky man. Always love her smiling face.
This is awesome. I wish I would have done something similar for my dad while he was still able to drive.
So nice! Bought a '91 new for 6995.
Hopefully it doesn't end up getting taken to Mexico.
I'd definitely look at a few anti-theft ideas.
I love it that Toyota is beautiful guys!!✌️🇺🇲
You could have used a straw for the nut on the back KC lights. Put the straw in the hole and put the nut over the straw.
9:47 🤣💕👏👍 I think La Cucaracha horn may have a couple of the horns mixed up, sounded a lil off
PS- what was that bar Josh was heating at end?
Great job guys. Thank you 😅
Gorgeous 👍😎✊
Love the promo your gonna send Matt, he's gonna be laughing so hard. You guy's are doing a fine job on your Dad's Truck. Josh is right ,your Dad's just gonna keep it in the garage he's gonna be afraid to get it dirty lol. Thanks for the video guy's can't wait for the next one.
Can't wait!
Yeah put skin plate on 👍 brilliant set of videos guy
Got my shirt today. Thanks for the cow tail that was included!
Sweet project!
Hearing you call a 91 a classic just reminds me how old I am.
Yeah, Ouch!
lol, just think about this, here in TN if your car is 25 years old you can get an Antique tag... Thats 1999 😅
Both my daily drivers qualify. '99 WJ @270k and '97 Chev 1500 @240K with no plans to update.@@bleepinjeep
I graduated in 91. Makes me feel ancient!!
Can’t wait to see the video of you revealing it to your dad
The fin combs work GREAT. Sometimes. They’re worth having, because when they do work, they’re fast and convenient. When they don’t work, you’ll always end up going with ole trusty (the pocket knife)
lol, so basically a pocket knife works just as good just slower?
@@bleepinjeep well you can pull the knife out of your pocket… or hunt around the shop for the fin comb you used that one time last year on the off chance it might work for this application lol. In reality, you usually use a knife or whatever to get the fins started back straight, then you use the comb to make them more even and closer to perfect.
Hey Matt you should have put a sound deadening material on the floorings
Heyy I got the same caulk gun my Ole man has been doing glass work for 42yrs this year and he cuts his tips the same way Its weird seeing someone else do it😅 but hey that truck is looking fantastic
looking good!
Fun all the time ✨️😁
Hey guys, have you ever done a standard transmission to automatic swap on a CJ7? My old knees aren’t doing so well anymore.
Your Dads truck is looking great and you two are a hoot to watch.
I really can’t wait to see this finished and see your dads reaction. I hope I’m able to do something this special for mine one day.
I hope so too!
That is a good looking truck . I rebuilt a 83 GMC 3/4 TON pickup WITH A 454 V - 8 it took me six months 👍👍👍
Put that little magnet inside the socket. Works good! Some sockets it'll work to put it on the side as it can be difficult to get the magnet out!
very nice boys....
that saying is for an old car ad with an famous eighties Spanish American day time actor in it and he says rich Corinthian leather for the seats
You guys are nuts, that was a nice truck before you started. I guess you are giving people ideas that have a truck that actually needs restoration.
Ricardo Montoban (sp?) used to advertise the Chrysler with Corinthian leather.
I'll have to see if there is a video on CZcams
this builds has turned out so well. Looks amazing. Definitely use the skid.
If you're patient radiator combs work great
I like your show and I like what you are building for your dad .I have not been Off-road I live in Pensacola Florida right now and I have a 94 Toyota 4runner 4x4 with a 5 speed transmission I need to know where I can get some more part for it
The windshield man has the best accent.
I was a Glazier for many years windows residential commercial, vehicle. My specialty was custom shower installer..
So many questions, what is a custom shower? Is that a show-er or a shower like not a bath but a shower. English language issues...
@@bleepinjeep sorry my mind went completely nuts remembering installing windshields. A Custom shower that doesn't come in a box, 10mm 12mm glass showers you would see in fancy hotels or homes
Bought a Dripless brand caulk gun from Homo Depot; had to order it because they charge the same for crappy shelf guns ($15) and don't stock them...a 3000 something with 3 letters I can't recall. It grew legs because someone liked it more than me, but I'll be getting another because a) it doesn't run on, and b) has a selector lever to let it run on, like when doing long runs.
Great video
It keeps spewing out because you don't push the lever (the one that is designed to let the pressure off the trigger) with your thumb after you run your bead.
The combs work well. They come in a set, may check a HVAC buddy and borrow a set
Napa sells them they work great, from there ac parts.
Awesome wrecking games video!
I always enjoy the outtakes. The question is which left 😂😂
Other left.
I want a horn with the Jamie Lee Curtis scream from Halloween
I dont know if they make that one...
Amazing job!!❤😊
I spin the socket on a grinder to make a thinner profile
Great promo.
Well done.
BYW I'm impressed by your collection of WD40 products. When I was in Argentina in 1973 I came across the Argentinian equivalent. It was called KRAP40. Why did I not buy a can?
Lol, Krap40 really?
Guys maybe think about rhino line the floor board of the yota for extra protection
Yes they make a comb for that it’s in the hvac area
And yes it works great
In case you don’t already know, Toyota puts Bilstein shocks on the trucks from the factory.
No, I didn't know that. Guess it works out perfect then!
Anchor Bolts next time!!
Nice truck, I came to same problem with a bolt that don't reach the other side and I used a bolt gauge male and female on the other side from Amazon and I used thread locker
should paint match those mirrors
Cool 🌼😄
Those coil combs do really work. I have used them a lot on commercial refrigeration.
Did you spray paint the coils after too?
@@ScottFidler No, they weren’t sprayed to start with.
With front skid
Everything looks amazing... But... That seat man... Looks like an amusement park ride seat... Needs a cloth 60/40 seat... They are so much more comfortable n look so nice
Damn I remember when kc lights were affordable.
One of my parts Jeeps came with the harbor freight version of that horn. It might be because the video or the wires melting, but i the harbor freight 1 sounded alot better.
ya I wasnt too impressed but it is VERY loud. Same guys that make those train horns.
All the commercials growing up pronounced it 'Bill-Steen"
Those KC Lites are super cool in size and it appears in weather proof quality too. Nice wire loom they supply however, they have a super high price tag on them. Personally, I'd like to have them mounted away from center especially for backup lighting needs. One on the left and the other on the right most side. My only concern would be mounting them so they don't get knocked off from going up or down steep driveways etc. Once they are connected, will the current flow through the backup light switch or is the install going to use the supplied wiring loom and breaker?
Nice finish on the paint work...very nice.
It will be controlled through our voswitch. We decided ppl in a parking lot might not like those bright lights every time you back up so it's an option to turn them on.
@@bleepinjeepGreat idea...allow the stock B/U lamps to still work then have the KC's on the factory KC wire loom set up. That will help with using it for utility needs, simple flick of the switch and the lights are on until the switch is turned off.
Hey guys truck looks awesome i have an 1990 truck and can not find a bully bar anywhere could you let me know were you got yours thanks keep up the work
Bilstein and Toyota go together like peas and carrots
Yuck 🤮
Wet sand and buff the tail lights
Your LEFT sign is pointing to the RIGHT for the oncoming driver.
EXACTLY 💯 %
$450 for those 2 little lights sheesh.
I wonder about the safety chains for trailer other than that looks great 😊
I'm trying to remember where we hooked up a trailer in this video...
@@bleepinjeepwith the backup lights is there still room for trailer safety chains to hook on?
The seat back upholstery turned out nice; how'd you fix it?
I sent it back with the original and they corrected the patterns.
Y'all didn't want to sound proof it before Y'all put it back together?
I never thought it was that noisy in there.
Your other left ... finger points driver's right
I used to hate it when my ambulance partner would clean and ArmorAll the bench seat in the back. Hauling butt to the hospital with a critical patient that I’m trying to do stuff for and I’m sliding all over!
grind a flat on each side of the washer
probably would have worked as well.
I would have put horns on each corner and one in the center bottom of the truck
Sorry but I'm with fab rats. Love to see what Hope brings to lunch though.
👌👍☕cz
How did you get the crease out of the top of the seat?
I sent it back with the original and they corrected the patterns.
Supper Cool 😎
