Every year I pray Ruger brings back the 44mag Deerfield PCC but with larger factory magazines, and yet every year all I end up doing is watching Gunbroker listings go for almost $2k. One day I will get the large corporation to fill my niche gun desires...
With a 20rd mag it would literally be Cooper’s “Thumper”. Ok, dated reference for the zoomers, but the point is it would be rad.

They just came out with a 45acp carbine, I remember the 44mag, my uncle had the 357 mag. But they can’t really make a high cap model, they uses rotary magazine if I remember correctly and because of the rim a double stack magazine is going to be pretty tough, seems like a high probability of rim lock, maybe they will figure it out. A 10mm would be the easiest next option since it would be a simple barrel swap and modification to the 45 magazine.
The magazines are getting to be almost as expensive as the original price of the gun. I had a chance to buy a 357 magnum version but the guy wanted way too much, its was rough, most likely needed a few parts, and worst of all, no magazines.

PSA has already stated that the x57 isn't just a rock in a printed chassis it shares some small parts like the mags and extractor but a lot of it is not the same
To be fair, the prototype was literally a rock with a modified slide to work with AR charging handles. But then, that's why they said it would be at least a year out for production.

I want to see PSA release a FAMAS, SPAS12, XM8, and an SVD. Specifically the Norinco NDM-86 in 308 because I think the SVD is a vibe with that straight magazine.

The SVD won't be a reality any time soon, I think. They mentioned it 2 years ago and there hasn't been a peep since.
Likely because they can't get it right. Look at the problems they're having with their AK74s. I just can't see the SVD hitting the market anytime soon considering that they can't nail down a simple AK.
There's also a fair bit of quality control issues across their lineup of new products. They can't afford to pump out the volume of products they are getting out there, and have problems with every new gun.
@@dann3skjold I paid $750 for my FMAS back in the mid 1980's. When I heard a limited amount made thru to the States. And none were going to be imported again. I rarely fired it. I have all the original box, papers, etc that came with it. I remember I almost purchase a HK-93...which I did a week later. Still have all these firearms....Even got FN-FNC, 2 of those. Good times for guns circa 1980's.

Looking at Shot Show footage on CZcams is was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED of lack of PCC coverage, except this MP7 quasi clone that may or may not come to market. I hear conflicting talk about how popular they are YET little to no coverage.

@@45Gunner556I’ve seen m1 carbines in 22lr, 9mm and 30 carbine and one custom one, I think it was in 22 hornet or something weird like that. 30 carbine and 38 special are so close in ballistics that it seems like a waste to do all that work, at least for 357 mag, or better yet 300bo, but I guess the ruger mini 14 in 300bo is pretty much the same thing.

I bought a 1911 from them, and it was one of the few guns I've ever sold. It constantly jammed with all types of ammo. Hopefully you have had better luck with them. @@dimmymackster431

When compared against pistol cartridges 30 carbine isn't the slouch it's made out to be. Love may dad's inland. My favorite semi as a kid and all these years later still is.

James, my retro wish list is a Valmet M76 folding, (although I'm not an AK guy) and bring back the Sig 551. When PSA builds the 308 JAKL, i would like to see the KS-47 get some common upgrades, like stronger larger bolt, better lower, last round bolt hold, etc.
There are occasional imports by JDI of different models and calibers of Swiss made Sig 550 series rifles and pistols. Very small numbers and high priced. The last one I would have liked to own was $4,000. I doubt Sig Sauer US would consider making them again. Their Sig 556 models were not well received. A PSA version could be interesting but there is only so much production capacity to spread around to a crowd of different firearms.

H&R needs to crank out movie-realistic clones from the films we grew up watching. Think properly cerakoted and distressed Blood Diamond carbine.
I’d love to be able to own a semi auto FAMAS or L85a2 semi auto clone if PSA is going to start doing bull pups and retro rifles (may as well combine the two lines).

My wish list of Retro guns from PSA
1.Ruger 44. Carbine. (If Ruger won't make it somebody should.)
2. SKS (because i'm not giving 700$ for one.)
3. Mosin Nagant (Same reason as the SKS.)
4.Nagant Revolver (Because a suppressed revovolver would be dope.)
5. A Mossberg shockwave style firearm thats a side by side double barrel. (So we can be road warriors without having to pay a tax stamp.)
If PSA made a line of the old SIG 550 rifles I'd be a happy camper.

Thanks to this report, I'll be taking a serious look at lever-actions. Next years SHOT show will probably feature PCC's in Pink, with the option to switch out the 2nd magazine for a vibrator.

Beretta needs to revamp the CX4. I think it would be less obscure now. Needs a collapsible stock though
I agree but they would have to include a good trigger from the factory, Mlok and a high capacity magazine option which Beretta will never do. They would rather lose money than improve something they released because it's like admittedly it wasn't perfect as is. Getting them to make a frame mount safety/decocker on the 92 has taken literal decades and a brutal campaign by 92 fans. I like the overall looks, weight and handling of the CX4 but you shouldn't have to buy a new gun and then head straight to another company, in this case Sierra Papa, in order to buy the replacement parts necessary to make it shoot worth a damn. Especially not from a manufacturer like Beretta.
@@brandiwynter I do agree on the trigger. My Grand Power has a better trigger. I am about to send mine off to SP to start the upgrades once the tax return comes in.
I would also add that the frame mounted safety/decocker took losing a military contract to finally get that accomplished.

That barrel sleeve and threaded holes in barrel is a great tunable way to quiet a PCC.
I believe the psa x57 shares some parts with the Rock but has its own internals. Although the prototype they showed has mostly Rock parts. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was a case for now

Love the FLUX365 out of all of them because it sidesteps the GAYtf whereas B&T can't even figure out to sell their USWs with braces from the factory, so I jus gotta violate some unconstitutional laws every time I drop a Glizzy in em.
The only thing that sucks about the Flux Raider 365 is that in my state, if you have it as and actual SBR, you can't carry it concealed. But holy shit do I want the H&E DoE 9mm.

“Allegedly” the PSA MP5.7 will not just be a chassis based on a few interviews I saw. Also surprised the DD/LWRC didn’t make this list even if they’re not groundbreaking. The Nemo arms PCC could be called more unique but you’re far from the only reviewer who seemed to miss that one. Enjoyed the video as always!
