I just broke up with my girlfriend of 1.5 years. We’re due to be engaged she is from Cambodia I am from Australia. She is Buddhist and ready to convert for me. But just before I was set to see her she realised Islam is too hard. I lost her because of Islam. I thank GOD he saved me from marrying her. I still love her but i love Allah more.
Islam isn't hard brother, 5 prayers a day, charity, haj, shahada, fasting.
That's all it is. If she can't do that then think of your children with her. It'll be very difficult for you to raise them in a halal fashion.
I must make this distinction, You didn't lose her because of Islam, she lost Islam because her love for her own desires overcame her love for god/truth. You didn't lose her, she lost you.
Also remember Allah will test you with anything be it disease or your family or friends or your wife. As you said it's important to love Allah more ❤ if you love anything more than Allah then it is a big problem.
Matters of the heart are very difficult, I hope Allah heals your heart and you meet a fantastic wife who will be BETTER than you currently want.

@@ahmet6144 thanks my brother I appreciate it a lot. She left because she is Buddhist. She was young so didn’t realise the implication of changing her faith. Thought she could still go to temples with her mum and go to mosque with me. So innocent she is. She agreed to convert because she loved me not Islam. My little cutie pie. I miss her so much, it burns me up. I am not sure if I should have just allowed her to go to the temples to begin with. Then slowly teach her about Islam.
@@OutbackAnime think about your legacy, your children. İt's difficult to have kids when both parents are Muslim and can teach the kids together. Do you have the capacity/capability of teacher her and the kids properly?
I was in the same place as you brother. I know the pain. But remember the priority in life is to raise good Muslims and anything that gets in the way of that is a trap.
İf you are a devout Muslim who can both lead his entire family alone AND has financial security (so you won't be spending most your time at work so you can instead spend it on raising your family) then by all means I encourage people to marry others if they convert because you can bring them to the deen.
But if you're not an A* Muslim to begin with (I know that I have a lot of flaws and you must be honest with yourself regarding this) then don't even attempt it.
İf you are an A* Muslim but don't have the money to spend time at home then again don't bother because your knowledge is no good if you can't spend your time to teach your family.
Remember brother Allah rewards all sacrifices you make for your deen and your ummah
Be close to Allah. Don't allow your desires to fool you. I have been fooled by my own desires and I have big regrets. Don't be an idiot like I was. 😘♥️

Also, you will have to give her space to practice her own religion. I am assuming that he won't be a hurdle for you in practicing islam. And also, for your child to do the same. You must go with her.

Nice to hear it again (I wish this channel will credit the speaker though [in this regard: ust Nouman Ali Khan], it's the proper thing to do esp from a dakwah channel, i hope i just missed the credit). Anyway, I still got moved. For a very long time time I thought the strict one is the only righteous way, but life gave me another understanding of the syariah. -parents should help their kids get married or at least be open and accepting when they propose the subject, and should not be an obstacle.
-parents do not have the right to force someone upon their children, the marriage is null (batil) in that case.
-if you like someone but don't have the means to get married, do not date or enter in a haram relationship, instead work to get the means, fast to control your desires, be pious and ask allah what you desire and be patient until allah answers when he deems it fit.
-if you have the means, be respectful, honest, dignified and to the point " hey i like you, do you want to get married?" If she approves you must ask her parents, if they approve, you can get to know each other better under their supervision and get married. (Any interactions outside of parents knowledge is haram)

You have to speak to her father and marry and if you feel there’s no point then you must cut ties immediately and if Allah wills then you may marry her in future but u definitely cannot carry on haram interactions and relationship even if it’s platonic bcos shaytaan is with you and will always be with you and can entice haram in an instance that’s why Allah said don’t go close to Zina , not even close ! So break it off for the sake of Allah and Allah wil reward you with better and it could be that girl and it may not . Remember your in sin every day until you break it off Akh and you don’t want to die in this state may Allah forbid

Yea parents are going to have to answer to Allah, and they seem to forget they think they're immun because they're your parents are are justified because they have the good intention for their children. But it doesn't mean necessarily that it's the right way and oppoisng and by playing god and dictating which way it should be, it is haram.

Yes, but avoid friendships. You can speak to them about group projects, school work if necessary, etc. Because once you're out of school, you would definitely need to interact with the opposite sex. Especially once you start university and afterwards working. You will have male and female colleagues, male and female customers/clients, workers in restaurants, stores, or any other place, so you should learn at a young age how to respectfully interact with them in a halal way. However, if you feel uncomfortable with starting to learn now, that's okay! I started learning how to respectfully interact with the opposite sex in university, because I was studying overseas and didn't have a mehram with me. It was difficult and scary to adapt to interacting with men, but I eventually got the hang of it, and so will you once you are ready :)

The thing is many parents do it in a way we call traditional marriage in iran basically the parents of the guy talk to the parents of the girl then the 2 marry without even knowing eachother!

Twice it, however, it can't be always that way tho. You have a choice to decline the offer and usually someone that you're going to 'marry' is your friend, so at least you should have known a little bit of their outer personality (So it's not totally a stranger yknow). And yes, you can be friends with a man/woman but only for work/study reasons. Besides that, if you want to get closer you should do 'Taaruf' which is a term for communication deeply to get to know each other in a halal way, if it suits you, then marry them, if it doesn't suit you just tell the man and family that you decline them. As simple as that. However, if you're a woman and you want to pursue or choose someone, make sure to let them know that you're interested in them, not the one who is chasing them.
