We're out in the rain chancing our luck in Leven... Could it be a MARBELOUS day?
This week its super low tide in Leven - we can see more of the beach than ever, so, what better time to get down to the shore and go treasure hunting between the tides!
With so many recent storms and more on the way, we've been finding it difficult to open a window of opportunity to get out and dig around on one of our favourite beaches in Fife. So, seeing that the rain was light, we thought, lets go for it! Then the rain picked up and, well, you'll see!

Ah I am in a funny mood,and I shall repeat ,in a funny way,something that I have expressed before.
The thing that rests upon my ears,it is the most beautiful sound that I ever heard,a most welcome sound upon the drums of my ears.
It is a certain chirping of a song bird,but not of the avian variety.
No,it is the sound of Nicole’s voice,it has always enraptured me,especially when she asked about a bee,she asked”Is it a sleepy bee?”
Oh she said it like honey upon my aforementioned ears!

Oh! Also,I thank you both for the recent purchase of the old teapot bits.
I use them as teapots,one in particular,it takes the first brew,I pour it onto it,a tribute,as the first steeping in Gongfu style brewing offers it.
And my loveley gift,wow,the necklace of the blue and white,ahh!
The little man,mysteriously pointing up the staircase!
I shall forever strive to answer his cryptic inquiry.
Woops,I meant to say that I use them as tea pets.

Love the square bottom piece of glass, it'll make a nice place to put rings when you take them off. The slag glass is beautiful. So glad you kept the stone with the bird.
Those were my favourite pieces to , especially the bird stone :)

Hello from snowy northern Michigan, Craig and Nicole! Yep, 3 more inches of the white stuff has fallen in the last day and a half. That makes your video all the more enjoyable. What a great day at the beach you had. Lovely treasures found, birdsong in the background, waves on the shore, beautiful background music..that sounds like a perfect day.

At 17:57 there's a coin at the bottom center of the screen. I thought you were going for it but no, you went straight up to the green glass at the top of the screen.

I do metal detecting on this beach. I v found nice coper coin from 1796 there last time.
Oh how amazing! We found a musket ball a few weeks ago :)

almost everything looks great on the screen, so I hope it is easier to pick out the nice things on the spot?Loved those pieces of pottery and what you made from them.(my computer have been down for almost four days, so I have a lot of videos to look through).
Sometimes you see things in the edit on screen and not in person... it depends on the light really :)
