I really like that they listened to fans and made a pirate game only out of it. Some people even say Blackflag was more pirate game than a assassins creed game.
I honestly hope it's in the same universe, just not involved in the shadow war. The narrator mentions the literal events at the end of AC4, with the fall if the Pirate Republic. Maybe this is where Anne went since she didn't go with Edward?
And that they removed any of the third person gameplay from Skull & Bones. So instead of fighting your way when entering other ships you only see a short animation :(

They did say multiplayer game first…which possibly means that they worked on a campaign..thats why they went silent for 2 years…I’m assuming they will launch a trailer later on this year hopefully april 2022 and releasing a released date hoping it would be June 2022

Yes, they would say women were bad omen aboard ships or weren't allowed to be pirates, but there were quite a few pirate queens in the Caribbeans and South East Asia during the golden age. Do your research. Most had to crossdress. Many who were found out were often killed or had another punishment.
