i honestly had 3 favourite moments: the anticipation of the upcoming episode from back when it was announced, watching the actual episode and enjoying every single second of it and lastly whenever i reminisced about the awesome episode i watched

There really needs to be a compilation of all scenes from both shows where someone swears in a foreign language and it's translated into something hilariously innocent.

Been waiting to see this bit again since the episode aired. 4:04 is the best moment of the entire episode, with the sailor-mouth French girl and overly literal subtitles. She, her vocabulary, and this manner of subtitles should be a regular part of the show!

The French woman uses a lot German Autobahn Greetings.
Granted haven't driven on an Autobahn, but I get the sense Germans would calmly say "Your driving skills disappoint me," which is a far bigger insult than any string of French expletives.
The American hatchbacks tried to make it, but the Pinto caught fire, and the Chevette died (of embarrassment, perhaps).
And the GLHS couldn't be bothered to race.

The Peugeot 205 and 306 sold like hotcakes back in the day, as did the Clio and the Saxo but how many French cars do you see in Britain these days?
I still see a lot of Clios, but certainly not as much of a variety of French cars as there used to be. Don’t really see many hatchback Peugeots anymore, apart from the new 208? Which is being clearly outsold by the Corsa. The French hatches just aren’t desirable anymore; been overrun by chavved up Ford Fiestas

Probably more than you realise, new Peugeot and Citroen are selling relatively well. Citroen in particular, e-C4 is a very popular electric choice it seems.

th Citroën Saxo model driven by Abby is appreciated in Rally. It's a fun car to drive and sticks to the road. it may be less powerful than Clarkson 's for example but it's very light.

I've got a Peugeot 207 GTi and I'll admit I'm disappointed they didn’t use one in this race but it's still a great French hot hatch.
The saxo or 106 1.6l 16v was officially declared by Peugeot as 125 horsepower but in reality it was more around 135 hp
Because I'm a good french citizen a can only agree with bad words and good cars 😉

I feel able to comment since I am married to one of them, but this is exactly how French women drive. Also, the lady in the film is quite young. Wait until she is in her 40s and a real French driving swearing maniac. No wonder I have grey hair.

Why not choose the Clio sport V6, he got a Porsche engine
nope the engine is v6 ESL (made by Peugeot & Renault), and Porshe help to develop in the latest version of this engine (like in the clio)
But now the French are gradually giving up on hot hatchbacks.
We still to,but not so hot any more.
