Came here after watching your thermos food jar video as I'm deciding on a thermos for hot water. Again one of the most useful reviews Ive seem
I’d always pre heat the flask with hot water for ten minutes before refilling with the hot water tea coffee bovril etc this is supposed to help maintain the the heat

I had a small version of this brand years ago, was bloody amazing kept water hot all day. my brother borrowed it and dropped it off a 160 foot dry dock as I told him it was indestructible :) left a whopping big dent in the bottom. still kept it stupidly hot hours later. I chucked it out in the end as I lent it to someone and she pissed in it. kind of wish I had just washed it out. :) still with stupid electric costs now going to buy one to keep water hot to save re-heating kettle.
I got one for the cost of living crisis too. I really need something reliable and long lasting. For your friend, you can give her a female urinal bottle they are brilliant. More comfy than a flask lol
I got mine from Amazon for 22.50 pounds. Sep 22. Lots of good reviews. I am looking forward to testing it out. It is really annoying hiking and discovering the flask you have is absolutely useless. Cold tea isn't very nice. I am off to see your cleaning video.

Hi, I bought Thermos 1.2 liter today. I filled the boiling water and tightened the cap tightly. I couldn't see any problems with leakage etc. I will do a heat test tomorrow morning, but I noticed that the mouth of the product, that is, the part covered by the glass lid, is getting hot, is this normal?
That happens to mine and the cup does be wet 😮
Same with mine idk if it's supposed to be like that 🤷♂️

No I've never tried ice cubes, so I can't answer you.
Brought one underscrewed it and inside part won't close fully have to wait few days now to return it and get another one

I just bought a Thermos 1.2 L and I noticed the inner cup does be wet /sweat . Is that normal ?
No, check there is no residue on the cap tread before sealing

I made sure it was dry and it’s still gets wet/ sweat and around the top does feel warm ,I got it yesterday
@@johnt8784 take it back and when you get another check the rubber around the screw lid isn't damaged or missing

I get similar with the food flask version of this thermos brand but generally I figured it’s minor amount of moisture off threads underside edge of screw cap seal

12hrs yes when I have forgotten to take with me, if you haven't broken the seal it can be still warm and happy to drink
