The first 10 to 20 minutes of this rather bizarre movie has a DEFINITE Spaghetti Western Sergio Leone thing going.......
yeah that was the intention of the guy who made this. first he wanted to make a western. then the story came up and he thought.. lets make a western with nazis. The whole story is like a 60s 70s spagetti western just ported to the end of WW2.
Very well made scene. Fast and exciting, but you always know what's going on.

I don't think its just an idea, it's a fact that many Germans wanted to do/actually did right. I'm happy to hear you trying to be a good person (i'm African). it saddens me to remind my children each day that human beings have a bad side inside, racism, rape etc etc and it's all humans not just the white ones.
Only 20% of germans side with the allies 80% where true nationalist, its facts
@@lonewulfmo9128my grandpa was a German soldier. He fled, became a US spy and went back into the wolves den and was shot in the back and survived. Became a successful engineer and made his fortune as an inventor in America in the 70s. There are Germans that resisted and proud of that history.
@@treytilley333 Thank you for sharing this story. This is a story my family and those I encounter will hear. He stood up for what is right against all odds. He suffered and there was happy end. I, others can also stand up against what's wrong/ evil.
It happened during the war too. There's a recorded battle at a fortified castle between the SS and US soldiers that were joined by renegade German troops.

She definitely breaks the cliche later in the movie. What I like about this movie is that it has “strong female character” done right. She’s not worthless and doesn’t beg for help. She fights back and uses her cleverness to tip the balance in her favor. However, at the same time she realistically can’t do everything like escape 3 soldiers by herself. The writers didn’t dumb down the male protagonist to make Elsa look better either. I found the part where she escapes on her own and realizes that Heinrich got captured trying to save her absolutely hilarious. The last sequence of the movie is her doing the shooting, not Heinrich.
So I think it’s disingenuous to say that the movie makes Elsa a simple damsel in distress. Unless ofc you just saw this scene and not the rest of the movie?
Most disgusting uppercut ever in the part after he slams the the guy with pants down througj window sounded like thunder the punch and uppercutted the hrlmet off
