  • There is one key difference between trading on financial markets and trading on sports markets.
    This video explores that and shows you how in fact your task when trading sports isn't perhaps as daunting as it may seem.

    Excellent video Peter. I never really thought of it like this. We're always led to believe the bigger the bank the better but what you say sounds safer and far more achievable.

    I remember your comment in another video, Peter, on the secret to profitable trading being lots of little profits. Absolutely! Thanks and please keep inspiring us 👍

    you've got a lovely voice. i'm new to these programmes but you're definitely rights about not needing a large amount of cash, there's probably less purely financial speculation on the market or something meaning to fluctuations are easier to manage or something.

    For me Peter's got it right on! Make little often! I have been using BA for a number of years now and, when it comes to racing, making ten quid a race consistently through the day, soon adds up. As Peter says if we have 42 races during the day and putting on £10 a race, we'll be in profit by £420 at the end of the day. So, make small amounts often, and keep your discipline - you WILL make money!

      +Jeff Nudd Hi Jeff, of course it is BetAngel. I started off with the free trial, then on to Basic and it took me about a year to be really comfortable. I then went BetAngel Pro and that took me to a new level. Win small, win often!!

      I've looked at hundreds of video's on Dutching and Bet Trading but for the minute I am interested in Dutching more than Trading as it looks easier. Not sure what your thoughts on that would be but I would be interested. Kindest Regards. Jeff.

    What percentage return is good in a trade? If 50 percent is too good..

    • @afafssaf925
      @afafssaf925 Před 8 lety +2

      lol, go deposit money on your bank and see how much you get. Say you make 50% per MONTH and you increase your stake as you make profits (if you make 50%, you increase your stake 50%) say you trade consistently for 10 months out of the 12 of the year. If you deposit just 1000€/$/£, you end up with 57000€/$/£ by the end of the year. After another year, you'd be a millionaire.
      Even if you play it extremely safe and don't increase your stake and you just make 50% of 1000 a month, you get 5000+ a year. The next year you'd have 25000+ and on and on. That's some extreme amount of money, you can't just expect to make that much that easily.

      You can guarantee if Ladbrokes is 4/1 and betfair is 5/1 with less than a minute to go regardless of WOM that horse will drift at least 2 ticks.

  • @davidwelburn
    @davidwelburn Před 6 lety

    So are you saying you put your ENTIRE bank in to each trade? As someone who bets on horses to win that's a very alien proposition.

    • @betangeltv
      @betangeltv  Před 6 lety

      When trading you are only looking to win (or lose) a percentage of your bank so you should never have that entire stake at risk. That's a key difference between trading and betting.

    • @davidwelburn
      @davidwelburn Před 6 lety

      Thanks for the reply. Yes I understand that, but I still thought you would use a percentage of your bank for your trades, though it could be a much larger percentage than if you were straight betting. And in fact this appears to be what you are suggesting in other videos.

  • @saviolacarcioffola2817

    so peter, if u saying that is possible to make money with betfair, y u did this video for? whats ur story? y working for them if u actually know how to trade and make money? i dont mean to be rude, i jst want to understand coz i keep losing no matter what i do. and ive used betfair for over 5 years now

    • @betangeltv
      @betangeltv  Před 9 lety +4

      Salvatore de gennaro I don't work for Betfair. I joined Betfair in June 2000 as a customer and have been doing this now for over a decade. But curiously no matter how well I've done people still don't seem to realise it.
      I sort of guessed people would not understand very well when I started, but having to explain that all these years later still surprises me.

    Hi peter, have you ever looked at matched betting exploiting bookies free bet offers/promotions and locking in profits using bet fair exchange? its good for people with less money who want to make a good £500-£1000 extra per month

    • @myles1234ism
      @myles1234ism Před 8 lety

      Absolutely. Usually the most reputable betting companies such as bet365 or paddy power will not restrict your account so often, especially if you generally win lay bets and lose on their sites.

    • @georgebuller1914
      @georgebuller1914 Před 9 lety +2

      Robu Bogdan LOL! Listen/watch again! I've recently attended a course run by this man and whilst he doesn't promise to make trading easy (if it were, everyone would be doing it!) he does show you the 'tricks of the trade' - pun intended - to help you become a better trader. If, like me, you struggle to adhere to his teachings, then - like me - you will lose money (yep, I did it again today!!!!) but I KNOW that if only I can do as I'm shown/told and not let emotion/big ideas/impatience get in the way, then I WILL be successful. So, in short (you obviously like short :-) ) if you listen to what Peter Webb tells you AND act on it - and do it time on time - then you WILL make money! Thanks for the in depth explanations, Peter. :-)

      ***** Funny, I've been pretty well 'predicting the price' all day. Yes, I had a couple of small losses, but I'm ahead (as I was yesterday and the day before). I intend to do the same tomorrow. But you are free to hold your own views - as are we all. One word of advice though, be careful who you accuse of being a scam artist, the laws of slander can land you in very hot (and expensive!) water indeed........

    • @georgebuller1914
      @georgebuller1914 Před 8 lety

      And you are ignorant! Whats the matter, have you tried it yourself and found out that you have to work at it? As for your Nobel Prize winner, so what? Probably another academic with no grasp of real life.........
