Sega Town Waterfall, Liberia's largest!

  • Sega's waterfall is located in a town call Sega. This town is the last town in Kokoya district, Bong county. The waterfall separate Bong and Grand Bassa Counties. We've heard about Kpatawee, Gbedin, and St. John Waterfalls, however, little has been told about Sega Town Waterfall in Central Liberia. What makes this waterfall exceptional is that, multiple rainbows sit on it, sometimes three rainbows. The Oldman that was interviewed is very smart, listen to his response to the reporter during interview. God has blessed Liberia indeed, we just need to wake up. This is no ordinary waterfall.
    Indeed, it is a gift from God and we must make use of it. Considering the force of this waterfall and beauty it exemplifies, two things are for certain, either we use it for tourism or hydro dam. Either way, Liberia benefits. This is what Liberia is sitting on. Imagine the money we could generate from tourism? I must add, this waterfal is three in one and has rainbows 🌈. What a magnificent blessing! All credit goes to "Examining Liberia Under the microscope," a Liberian media that's committed to bringing the beauty and wonders of Liberia to the world.

    Wow! The memories! We used to live at LAC in the 70’s when I was a teenager and my dad was workshop manager. We did the trek to the falls when I was 12. I have photos somewhere.

      God gave us a brain too, let's learn to use it and be self-reliant. There is nothing those people can do that we can't do if we apply ourselves.

    This place is so beautiful, the rainbow is the sun shining through the water vapour and refracting into the different wavelengths of light which appear as different colours.
    I wouldn't want to spoil such a beautiful place with a dam, however some micro-hydro's could be installed along the river banks to take off power for the local communities.
    I remember in Tolbert's time there was a project between Liberia and Ivory Coast to create a dam on the Cavalla river near Webo, does anyone remember this?

    This video is great! continue what you are doing. I would have not known about Sega Town waterfall without you. Usually starting on CZcams especially in a small viewer population Like Liberia can be a challenge, but keep up what you are doing and it will eventually pay off. The best we the viewers can do is to subscribe and spread the word while you guys keep up the good work

    You people who are asking for a dam better understand that there are consequences to damming up the natural flow of a river. I will give you two.
    1. The waterfall will no longer exist. That beauty will be no longer.
    2. Hundreds , if not thousands of acres of precious land will be lost due to the water being held back by the dam.
    Liberia's best move will be to invest in wind and solar farms, that's the future. I pray for the day when we will invest in our brilliant young people. We can be engineers and build our own . Sick and tired of hearing people say get the Chinese , American etc. THEY DON'T HAVE TWO HEADS. They have one head just like us, if they can do it we can too.

    Building dams is controversial now adays. Environmentalists should be consulted to weigh the pros and cons,erring on the side of cautious. Our natural resources are better for us.

    • @1flyjcLIB1drone
      @1flyjcLIB1drone Před 2 lety

      Quite agreed. A dam can destroy a whole lot of nature. Our people have always respected nature.

      Please understand that the reason for this video is not to show us the wonderful waterfall. Whoever sent him to capture the falls, would like to have a dan built there. My friend, listen to his words.
