I MUCH prefer true vintage items used in junk journals rather than purchasing "ephemera" churned out to look vintage. I have the Monopoly board game that was given to me when I was around 8 years old in the early 60's. I've thought about framing the board since it's in good condition & using the paper money & deed cards in a journal.
Wow you really scored with all of your treasures. But I doubt you could hear me yelling nooooo don't toss out the box to the vintage clue game, clean it and it can make a cover for a jj. I have been a viewer for awhile now and you and I are kindred spirits I love your junk journals and we bring home the same goodies from the thrift stores. Keep up the great work

Oooh, that was so exciting to watch! :) I used to buy vintage books in the hopes of one day turning them into something grand, but I'd always end up reading them and falling in love with the stories. I really love the children's card games! The animals are dressed like the ones in Pinocchio!

But I definitely have a feel for it, I was excited by all your great finds plus I know you will actually use it. So much of that old stuff just falls into oblivion, who actually uses it anymore? So you will give it a second life. Now whenever I see cool stuff I will probably think "I should pick that up for Diane!" lol

Don’t know about you but I never even get close to being Breck-Girlish since I lived an Oceanside town (humidity)!
I live in land locked Pennsylvania, but that doesn't matter. I have curly hair which becomes very frizzy very easily! No smooth Breck 'do for me!
