Just to clarify as a ex-music producer, the decibel system is an inaccurate way to measure how loud something truly is. Varying frequencies of different ranges can sound more loud to the human ear even if the dB is exactly the same.
This discussion was in a previous video of his, and that's why I mentioned LUFS. I'm a producer myself too, and it's nice that he listened to community feedback :).

You should make a table plotting all of the skins through the different attributes, so people can decide which skin they want depending on their highest priority, let's say sound, but they also want animation, so they may take a gun skin that is still good at sound, but not the best with a higher animation rating, kind of like a sweet spot in the middle.

Sounds help me hype up my gameplay. Its a psychology that boost my confidence on hitting those shot. Also I used the sound queue to prevent overheating.

Another niche stat that you might want to consider what skin you're playing is the color, for example I play Viper a lot so I rate green skins higher specially for the shotguns and silenced weapons since being green allows it blend better inside the smokes and viper ult compared to a red skin (the complete contrast of green, meaning easier to see)
Red and green, historically known to be the most contrasting colors and no one has ever had any trouble distinguishing them

i think that thinner but still well visible tracers are way better since they cant block your vision on targets while spraying

Do you have a table of loudest weapons? (not just the quietist)
I want to see how loud/quiet the Prime Vandal is relative to base/reaver
but everyone knows the bubbles are the real best vandal sound…
buff name is Hypocloriphorius (or Hypo if not that, im not at a pc rn)
Quieter shots make me miss everything, I can’t get a single kill with glitchpop phantom because it’s to quiet and the bullet tracers are practically invisible, but prime phantom has mic heavy sounding shots and visible tracers, which helps me a lot.
Personal preference is what matters.

Infantry and Protocol skins still looks the best to me. Infantry for the models, and protocol for sounds and inspect animations and since protocol weapons have a voice over when you do stuff in game.
Also, Buff is a great app yes, but it doesnt work in some countries. Make sure to check if it works properly for you

you could try weighting the values differently, and letting viewers choose how they want to be weighted, in some sort of script or excel graph? that could really optimise the selection of weapons for us

Bullet tracers aside skins actually help u get rr bcuz wen u drop a skin and a person buys u the gun back ur eco score goes up even tho he bought it for u so u get the eco points of 2 vandals or phantoms meaning more rr

I own the prime spectre, champions 2.0 phantom, reaver vandal and sovereign marshal, though reaver 1.0 skins are the actual best skins, also did you take into consideration the variants, since at least the white oni blue tracers might be more bright than the default red oni green tracers, and blue or purple singularity might have brighter tracers than the default black/pink
Some skins like ruination phantom make very distinct noise when u hit people thru smokes that aspect of sounds seems to have been overlooked imo

Good video, but why is 2:35 not explained at all.
Unless I'm missing something, the Reaver scope seems better because it has arrows pointing to the center, which can help line up your crosshair placement.

for me Forsaken has the best tracer on the vandal. It is bright enough but it also has a outline making it easy to spot and distinguish

I personally think the best type of skin in the game is simply the one with a combo of a tiny gun model, gold bullet tracers, and sharp sounds.

It's nice to include tracers, but imo tracers that are short and thin are less distracting and are better that way, since you don't really need tracers in valorant since the projectile is like a laser.

I might be trippin but i think Gun Sounds and tracers only change for the Player that Shoots With The weapon

I never get the riot points card in my buff store. whenever I get it, it's either for EU only or premium. I collected almost 1300 buff points but never got to buy a skin :( Any tips for me on how to get the global version of riot points?

The best skin is the one you like most and perform best with, it doesnt matter if the model is 0.1% smaller if you absolutely hate what the skin looks like. At the end of the day its a placebo

bro ngl I think u forgot that the reason why you can not really see the tracer for the reaver is because you chose the white variant, the white variant shoots white bullets and makes it hard to see, an easy to see one is you should try the red variant, or black variant, or actually basically everything but the white variant

i have grinded buff for like a year or even more and know i have 1802,03 buffs and i cant spend them because i live in eu and stock for valorant gift cards refreshs late at night and by the time i have even woken up its sold out( i dont have premium). its just pain. buff un - vuckey
