Insurgency requires 2 preceding decades of high fertility rates, like 4-5 in 1960s and 1970s. With fertility rates ~1.6 in Kashmir & Punjab in since 2010, insurgency just does not have the fuel.

You can say that conflict with India has reduced but to say that pakistan has no reason to exist anymore doesn't make any sense. Pakistans reason to exist is its 250 million population, 60% of which is under 35 years of age.

I find Abhijit’s comment on Pakistani elites behaving like absentee landlords is quite telling. Bernier who visited India during Aurangzeb notes that farmers will totally exploited and the Jagirdars weren’t interested in improvement of land or of agricultural practises since the lands could not be bequeathed as a Jagirdar was only a lease holder and all lands vested with the king. He also notes that there were a few rich jagirdars with vast majority of the populace living in utter destitution. (Not your typical sone ka chidiya). This is quite like Pakistan of today and India of yesteryear’s when Muslim by culture Nehru ruled with a few Jagirdars (Bureaucrats and Capitalists).
This has been the typical Muslim system of administration in India. If you were to compare Muslim ruled areas in India in contrast to Hindu ruled areas you will find that places ruled by Hindu kings were typically richer. Case & Point: Hyderabad ruled areas (Marathwada, Telangana regions) when compared with Hindu ruled areas of Mysore or even British ruled areas of Bombay Presidency. Both these non-Muslim ruled areas are richer and better developed that Hyderabad ruled areas.
Precisely. The liberals claim Hyderabad to be rich city but just outside of Hyderabad lies vast impoverished rural lands of Telangana which till recently were very very poor.

I also follow a lot of Pakistani podcasts and thinkers and none of them seem to be remotely aligned with what the two gentlemen are talking about here. Pakistan's first reaction to abrogation of 370 was that they never ever recognized Kashmir's accession to India therefore 370 or not it doesn't matter to them. That's the official line they still tow. Be very cognizant that they have raised the issue or turning Kashmir to a fort, suppression of civil liberties etc. and not so much the removal of act itself.
As for the death of insurgency, we all have seen how much 'dead' it is. One can twist the words and call it militant attack, unrest, freedom movement, whatever. The truth can only be told by the brave jawans and officers who have sacrificed their lives since 370 was removed. Sitting in a comfy chair, in front of mic, I think it is a mockery saying that insurgency is dead. It is and will stay alive, albeit without any result. No militant insurgency in any case has the power of fighting & defeating the might of Indian state anywhere.
I think analysts and content creator like these need to stop obsessing about Pakistan. As of today, it is jus a well armed nuisance sitting at our borders.

These Indian novices are self-proclaimed "Analysts". You have to throw out your biases and be objective especially when analyzing a rival. They don't understand ground realities. Average Pakistani's issue with Army is their PTI stance and Army's meddling in politics. Locals preferred Army do its job and maybe commodity businesses on the side etc. Kashmir is not gonna be freed from Indian occupation short term. Cold War 2 is currently in progress and is the precursor to WW3 when USA vs China/Russia are face to face directly. Just like after WW2, dozens of countries were freed from colonialism post 1945, Palestine and Kashmir will taste freedom after WW3.
