I kind of feel sad for the teacher goon. He’s a lowly paid teacher caught between Scarecrow and Poison Ivy.
It reminds me of Kiteman when he was just a goon, caught between Joker and Riddler.
I guess since Catwoman doesn’t really have goons, I would go with Penguin.
By the way, are you aware of the scene DC wouldn’t let them do? There was supposed to be a scene of Batman orally satisfying Catwoman and DC sent a note “heroes don’t do that”.
The exec producer wrote a note back asking for clarification, or was DC saying that all of their heroes were selfish lovers?

Yup, it's an amazing detail for her VA and voice director to make. It gets thicker when she gets angrier too. It's perfect.

Apparently Harley’s grandma was based off Harley’s own character design as an older woman from the show that takes place in the future called Batman Beyond (came out 1999). Great show btw, awesome theme song.

Yes, Hallucinogenic Honey is real Pat. The most famous variant is called “Mad Honey” made in Turkey and Nepal. You have to be careful with it though because it can cause Grayanotoxin Poisoning. A lot of people also just infuse honey with cannabis or other drugs.
The younger version of Harley's mom definitely looks like she was deliberately designed to resemble Peg Bundy, but aside from that, the sitcom style intro for this episode didn't really feel like it was referencing Married With Children at all, but rather '80s sitcoms in general.
Okay, loved this episode! But as a point on correction, I think it’s funny that Chris said teachers work 9-3. It’s more like 7-4 with meetings, and then 8-11pm then all day Saturday.

The part with Harley’s parents is pretty wild, thankfully they’re not that shitty in the comics. Her dad was also a sleazy dude but mostly by using Harley so he could charge people for her autograph her mom just wanted her to get her shit together and get away from the Joker.
Also a nice reminder that BTAS/TNBA established Harley as gymnast and that she went to the Uni on a scholarship… that origin did imply that she got her psychology grades by doing favors for her teacher.

Charlie Adler. I saw in the credits that he does voice direction for this show, so I wasn't shocked when I heard him voicing Harley's dad as well as the gangster in the restaurant.
