мне уже скоро 70 лет но я смотрю димаша с 2015 когда димаш пел на славянском базаре стехпор я не смотрю телевизор я прихожу с работы и ссжусь за компютер и с мотрю все выступление моего самого любимого певца у меня были майкал джексон элви пресли фредю меркель муслим могомаев и димаш когда я слушаю песню даидау я всегда почмута плачу не понемая слова но глядя как димаш поет слезы сами льются осебено мне тронула когдадимаш исполнил дайдудау в америке там было что то сверх эмоционально там димаш выложился на все1000 процентов

- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994. It is now 191 cm tall.

The dombra is a long-necked Kazakh and Bashkir lute and a musical string instrument. It is a popular instrument among Turkic communities in Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Mongolia.
Instrument similar to violin is kobyz. The Kobyz (Kazakh: Qobyz) is an ancient Turkic string instrument, spread among Kazakhs, Bashkirs, and Tatars. It has two strings made of horsehair. The resonating cavity is usually covered with goat leather.
Dimash is wearing national Kazakh outfit - shapan - here. Kazakh clothing, worn by the Kazakh people, is often made of materials suited to the region's extreme climate and the people's nomadic lifestyle. It is commonly decorated with elaborate ornaments made from bird beaks, animal horns, hooves and feet. Although contemporary Kazakhs usually wear Western dress, the Turkic people wear more traditional clothing for holidays and special occasions.

Kazakhstan has a difficult history of being taken by different warring entities. The Russian czars controlled it for some time; then after the Russian Revolution it became part of the U.S.S.R. It finally gained independence in 1991, just 3 years before Dimash was born. He is passionately proud of his country, its history, his culture!

Here's an early reminder to all Dimash fans: The MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream resumes on June 4. With the effort of fans around the world Dimash has finished #1 in requests in 9 of the past 10 weeks. In order to keep him on top (and to get two of his music videos played instead of just one) we need to show up en masse and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hour program. The MTV Friday Livestream appears on youtube every Friday from 5-8 pm New York time (don't forget to calculate your time zone differences). 👉 Daididau is a poem written in prison by Maghzhan Zhumabayev, a true story. The poet had just been informed that his wife left him, and this song was his reply. He called his wife Daididau - it could be derived from 'дедім айдай ау' - the moon-like. But it was actually a false information, a way to torture him and others that were arrested for conspiracy. He saw her again but only for a short time. He was executed in 1938. This song is well known and very important for the kazakh people. The traditional coat is called Shapan. 👉 The Dombra is a folk musical instrument widely used in Central Asia. It is made of wood and has a pear-shaped body with a long neck (only in Kazakhstan with frets) to which two gut strings are attached. Today the dombra is a national symbol of the Kazakhs. One of the greatest dombra players was the Kazakh folk musician and composer Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly, who had a great influence on the development of Kazakh music culture, his musical composition 'Adai' is popular in Kazakhstan and abroad. This was another great explanation of this performance. I’ve never heard anyone mention how he was signaling to staff about a problem. I notice he dropped the ear piece, too. Usually, when Dimash takes out his ear piece, the song is about to hit the stratosphere. With Dimash, I would count on muscle memory to get him through any problem.

Konbonwa Kamichika-san, its' me again. I never get tired of this performance of Daididau. This is an old folk song of Kazakhstan and very dear to Dimash. He sings it at every concert. He loves his country so much that he wants everyone else to also love it and wants the world to sing this song. He was crying at the end of this performance because of the love he felt for it. The instrument the young men were playing is called a Dombra. Domo, now I will listen to more of your music. If you go to Gloria Wu's channel you can get the backstory of Daididau.

Thank you for the wonderful detailed analysis. And the most respectful way you treat the music by having it without interruptions first. I listened to this version (my favourite) many times and did not realise that he did not wear ear monitors because of the technical problems. And still he created an amazing performance overflowing with emotion.

I had understood that his captors told him that she was unfaithful to him, but that this was not true, only a way of torturing, dispiriting him. The poem(s?) was the result. He later was briefly released or had some way of contacting her, and was reassured, but he subsequently was executed.

"Daididau" is a kazhak folk song and Dimash's rendition is truly beautiful and touching. The song is based in a poem by a poet and patriot arrested and jailed accused of conspiracy in the last Century. While jailed he was informed that his wife (Daididau) had left him. Then, in the midst of sorrow and pain he wrote her a letter (the poem). He was executed in 1939. Kazakhistan as well as other countries has a very strong and sad history. The country became independent only a few years before Dimash's birth. And Dimash knows, deeply, the history of his beloved country and people.

This concert in 2017 was the first huge event in his home country after his phenomenal success in the Singer contest in China. Being the patriot he is he was just overwhelmed by that and his fans who so rapturously showed their love. He was only 23 at the time. Love your reactions from Austria 😊

The song "War and Peace", performed for the first time in 2017 in China. Dimash wrote the song "War and Peace" based on the poems of the Chinese poet Yao Qian at the age of 23. It was one of the first attempts of the musician as a composer, created as a graduate thesis of the University of the Arts. The music turned out to be so powerful and appropriate to the text that it simply tears the soul apart from the pain brought by the horrors of war. Undoubtedly, this composition shows the versatility of Dimash's talent.
