Just to add my 2 cents after being a clay sculptor for years and now diving into paper mache its about 100 times cheaper and you can get fantastic results in half of the time apposed to clay medium

Quite nice. :) Much more in line with the type of stuff I tend to create. One of the things that I liked about you and your methods was that the organicness of the medium really helps the creatures come to life.

Hi Melissa. Yes, in fact that was almost a disaster. Part of the wing remained burning when I thought it was out. It just caught it before the project went up in flames. I suppose that would have been a dramatic ending!
