Watercolors are so very pretty. I think I'll do a watercolor sketchbook for anyone's enjoyment. I did a Koi Fish with watercolors and it looked beautiful with all those colors.
The Joy of Painting.
Thank you for showing us how it's done. Lovely vibrant lavender field.....makes me want to go there! You make it look easy, very relaxed style! I will look forward to giving this a go! 🪻🪻🪻
You are so welcome!
Love the lavender field. Ellen you're the best! Thanks for all you do 😊
Thanks, it looks so fine. And I've got a watercolor sketchbook which is not 100% cotton either, so you give me hope that I can make there some good sketches anyway ;)
Have fun!
I simply adore this sketchbook.
Great fun to do. Thanks Ellen.
Honestly, that lavender color you've mixed is just so BEAUTIFUL! The perfect shade. Thank you for sharing your artistry with us. I feel so inspired!

You’re welcome 😊
Lovely painting Ellen, I haven't used my sketchbook yet but may start with similar lavender field. Thank you for sharing all the tips for sketch book xx
Wonderful!
Beautiful 🤩 Ellen
Thx ☺️
really lovely !
I enjoy theses tutorials as am new to the watercolours
Nice.
nice 👍❤
I didn’t do this in my sketchbook because I haven’t done anything in my sketchbook yet! My biggest problem is patience, waiting for one thing to dry before adding another. Like the shadow.
Love this Ellen! 💜Where is the palette you are using currently from? It’s not the one in the description and it’s not the Sylvan Clayworks one. I know you mentioned it back in one of your other tutorials but now I can’t find it?
Amazing! Do you often work from memory or pictures? I have trouble starting or thinking of an idea start to finish. ❤
Your sketchbook looks like a work of art, mine looks like just failed tries and practices. I didn't know people are supposed to use them for masterpieces. I'm confused about art.

Unfortunately not simple and easy for everyone…
