The judd trump shot in your thumbnail was a long way away from the greatest shot in snooker history. He actually got lucky on that red, that was the one place he didn't want to hit the red, anywhere else on the top (baulk) half and that red was left for the middle pocket. The way he hit it ran the risk of it not rolling far enough or it rolling too far. The target he was aiming at was bigger than it appears - anywhere on top (baulk) half of the red even off the cishion first giving him 3-4" of cushion to hit would have been perfect. Dont get me wrong it was the right shot, and a good shot - he got the cannon, but there was as much luck involved as skill, if anything he was unlucky where he hit it. To call it the greatest shot in snooker history is lowering the bar by a huge margin.
