@@rexnhogz can a black spider and spl surround be tuned to low 30s even tho the fs will be in the 40s? do u prefer the spl surround over the mega roll?
@akuma4u yes it will change the fs based on the box tuning. You can tune a little higher like 35hz you will just have to set your subsonic filter higher. Yes I prefer the spl surround it makes the sub sound more traditional. It's more punchy. It's still a very big surround so it doesn't really change much. It moves less air but gets quite a bit louder.

If you don't use the spl spiders they will be more musical but really I think they sound great either way.

No I don't think the black zv5 spider is an spl surround it's progressive. The red nomex is spl. Progressive is musical, linear is spl.
