You should loop them through the first hole of your skate before you loop them through the back hole. Looping through the first hole will help fix the rotation issue and will also prevent the toe tie from ever falling "off track" from the front of your pad and risk you cutting it as others have mentioned.

I love the ProLaces so much that I had them on all the pads that I ever used. They are great for ice hockey and can be used for ball hockey too. The only pads I don't have them on are my current ones (new Bauer Ultrasonics). The Bauer toe ties broke on me, so I will definitely order a set of ProLaces when I get a chance.

Just bought a pair of pro laces. Growing up I played AAA and NEVER used toe ties. Recently I started skating with them because my new set there's no bootstrap . The traditional ties are murdering my knees. MCL / LCL Injuries out the ass. Hoping these elastic ones start to help me out a bit and provide some cushion for my ankles / knees to pivot

How tall are you? Do you have any tips on how to maximize the most of your size in your game and technique?
I am 6'1 and a little. 6'2 on paper haha. I would say the biggest thing is making sure you aren't double covering with your arms over your body. Spread them out!
I used pro laces and the first skate they somehow rotated off my skate and I cut them with my blade, so not the best experience for me but maybe it was a one off
Hm, maybe you should try lacing them through the backside of your skate so they are tighter !

What knee pads are you wearing here?
Cooper what Bauer stick would you recommend because I just broke my axis
I use the bauer 3s pro. It’s a great stick I have no problems with it but I get them for free. They are obviously pretty expensive so depending on budget there might be some better options.
You should try different ways to lace them through your blade holder so that it’s snug and then they won’t move like your right skate
