Thank you so much for this series of videos. I have been watching 20-30 minutes every Saturday morning over coffee, and it has become my favorite time of the week for the past year.

Thank you for these videos, you've truly enriched my understanding of art history. Your generosity in putting these videos up for anyone to see is amazing. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience and generosity publicly. Having time and access to your lectures is the best positive thing that came out of this pandemic.

Thank you Travis for that trip. I've been preparing for Art History exam in Poland just to prove to myself that I can do it. You've opened my eyes to art word in a way that Ive never imagined. I really can't wait to listen to your other lectures. "Thank you very much and see you next time. Bye bye!"

Thanks Travis! You helped me get through the covid lockdowns and learn a lot about art history. Looking forward to the contemporary art lectures.

I'm just some random 52 year old searching CZcams to learn about Art History and I found your AMAZING courses. I've completed both Art History to the Renaissance and Art History from the Renaissance. (Watched every video and even took notes for myself, even though nobody is going to test me. I just wanted to learn.) Now I want to do Non-Western Art. Although the videos started as a response to Covid, your courses now feel like an act of pure "street art" themselves, a creation that offers up art history (and a community experience) to the masses. Could you be the new JR or Candy Chang? Thank you so much for creating this and keeping it free and accessible. And it also really helps that you are hilarious!

This has been great. I have learned so much. After a really hectic day of work/responsibilities/more work/ more responsibilities, it has been so nice to end my day by just looking at beautiful things and getting the story behind it. You make it so interesting. A few times, though, I was like, OMG, what is that sound, is someone breaking into the house. Took my headphones off, and alas, it was just a squeaky chair. Phew. Thank you!!! (We kid because we love).

Thank you for the lectures! On the topic of galleries and the snobbery of their sales policies, I once heard this anecdote. In the North of England there is a prominent collector called Frank Cohen, sometimes referred to as ‘The Saatchi of the North’. I’ve heard it said that certain galleries only ‘permit’ Cohen to purchase a work once Saatchi has had first refusal…!

Thanks a lot for the interesting and deep lectures. On thinking I would like notice, that was mistaken-Mozart was an Austrian composer( not German), he born and died in Salzburg.

Really enjoyed going through all the classes from prehistory to today during my lunch breaks. Was a little disappointed you did not get into art made by AI in this lecture.

Street art is not supposed to last as other artists try and moderate the drawing by the first artist or destroy it. There is a Banksy in Park Street that had paint thrown on it. It has been left defaced. Perhaps the artist lives around this area, but his identity is not known to the public. His action of defacing walls etc, may see him in court.
