Your Steinway Is beautiful! It appears nearly new, especially the soundboard area. The singing quality of these pianos is magnificent. I'm eager to hear you play after the voicing and final tuning.
What is the history of that piano? It seems to need a LOT of major work for it's age and makes me wonder if it will hold up for you. Also why didn't the shop already do some of these adjustments. It seems they were trying to sell the piano "as is" hoping the new owner would accept it. I'm glad you found your instrument, but it was quite and effort. Is this a Steinway authorized dealer?

No they are not an authorized dealer.
