It was frustrating. No doubt about it. Sparty getting a bogus TD return from a non-fumble and Rivas missing that field goal at the end of the 4th quarter...the game should never have gone to OT. But every game came down to the last minute in 05, win or loss.

Michigan State goes as far as the refs take em, that was a forward pass by Chad. Luckily we won in OT.

Thank you for including the Spartans highlights as well. There is a guy who does the videos of Spartans games and he never includes the highlights of the opponents

I'm a Wolverine fan... been to the Big House numerous times... been to Spartan Stadium once in 2009 vs. Iowa... Spartan Stadium is nothing compared to the BIG HOUSE.

wasn't 2005 the first year for instant replay in college football? the fumble should have been reviewed.

They were 4-0 with 3 blowout wins over cupcake teams and a thrilling OT win against Notre Dame. (Even I cheered that day).
After they beat an awful Illinois team 61-14, Sports Illustrated wrote an article on how great their offense was and I had a feeling that would come back to haunt them. They were favored against us for the first time since 1968.
After we won, Sparty only won one game the rest of the year.

Another one of those games where we just dominated and we just left a team in there, but I just love beating Michigan State...and I can't stand Dantonio and we need to put him in his place this year...i hope

I miss these kind of UM-MSU battles. It hasn't even been close the last couple of years. Sparty has dominated UM for the past 3 years, hopefully this year will bring back the Paul Bunyan trophy where it belongs: in Ann Arbor.

3:30 LOOK AT THAT OFFENSIVE BLOCKING. Henne had all day to make that throw!

@andrewps84 That's true, they are great videos! Well, I guess all I can say is there is a mutual respect on both ends and I hope that 2011 brings a helluva game between the Spartans and the Wolverines

Freshman qb + away game + shaky defense + rivalry =very difficult game. Hopefully well do better against Iowa. Their D has sucked as of late too. But hell of a comeback effort from our boy Tate. This kid is a true athlete. Big Ten teams should be looking at him and saying we might have a problem. GO BLUE

You'll never see a game produced like this on ESPN. The theme music at the beginning, the overhead view on the first play, the on-screen graphic at 2:22. All awesome. But I'm just ranting on for no reason, again. Plus, how did Rivas miss that kick?

@commodorefan2 Never said you were a Spartan fan and didn't suggest it either...I was saying he was joke and he'll never live that one down...definitely one for the blooper reel.

I did. But the other one I made was too short and I didn't edit it very well so I decided to make a better copy.

@DMichiganWol21 You know I won't stoop to your level. I have a respect for UM and a great love for Bo Schembechler, believe it or not. Dantonio isn't rolling over like all the other coaches did, get over it...Half of the Wolverine fans I know can't even spot Ann Arbor on a map, they're about as fairweather as they get. I have a good reason for supporting the schools and programs that I do. Good luck to your program this year.
