Greetings and what an amazing video. I am primarily a Traktor user and dj weekly and looking to get more into video mixing as the place I am at weekly is now looking to expand more VJ options on certain nights. I have done VJ'ing before but not that often. So last time I used Virtual Dj and was discussing with the other dj's about Rekordbox and Serato and also Virtual Dj. One of the dj's suggested to look at Dj Pro which I actually have all the software lite versions on my laptop just to know how to use them all.
Suffice I have the NI Maschine Jam and so your video has immensely helped with the task at hand of now mapping to this new software. I was looking perhaps at either Serato or Virtual Dj but I let my trial pass and apparently purchased the dj Pro ha ha ....so guess now I will have a deeper dive and do truly like all the options and such that have been added since last I opened it some years ago.
I see this was done in feb so will see if you have any new ones but even this in-depth was a great start.
I guess one of my questions would be in choosing colors for LED on buttons, perhaps that is in another video you have or someone else might have.
This is great though what you mentioned about being able to switch mappings during a set depending on style or focus such as video or EDM Hip Hop or other.

Been tempted to plug the 2GO and a Starlight in to see if the software picks both up. If it does and I can map out the 2nd controller, that'd be pretty sweet.

How do you map XDJ-RX3? All control mappings are unconfigured. Will take lots of work
Looking for a mini external mixer to pair with my dj controller mix. Really sucks you only get two knobs. Found one on eBay called DJ Tech DJM 101, wondering if it will work with the mapping since it’s an older device. At home I DJ on a Denon SC Live 2 but when I take trips I take my dj control mix to practice in hotel rooms. I hate djing with laptops, I only get standalone controllers or Djay compatible devices.
Most devices can be mapped with Djay Pro if you have a USB-C iPad
does this just work for those DJay app subscribed for PRO?
Yes you need the paid version
like video can Apple iPad Air MD785LL/A 16GB, Wi-FI run this app with DVS mode .

So you want to sample a part of a song ?
@@justinspiegel6841 awesome thank you so much for responding. Yes that’s exactly what I want to do. For example, if they score, I would play 15 or 20 seconds of the song and then if they have a corner kick for goal kick I would play something different. I would like to be able to have this ready to go using the sample buttons or the effects buttons at any given second. If that makes sense?

Only for non supported controllers most modern ones are premaped
