Hello from late 2021. Space Marine 2 was just announced in a full cinematic trailer and snippets of gameplay. Found myself thinking of TB and his love for this game and 40k. Came here to pay my respects again. RIP.
Doubt anyone will read this but this was the first review I ever watched of TB, back when I was making let's plays on another channel, I loved his voice and style and I was saddened years later to learn that he had cancer. Now a few years after his passing I'm back watching it again and thinking of him and where I was 10 years ago in my own life. I'm really sad in this moment that he's gone, in fact he died at the age I am now, (33) which is insane to me. I hope wherever he is he's happy and pain free and thank you for being in this world man.

I don't remember entirely, I think it is a button like E or F or something, it's not too difficult. Should be able to look up the controls. I enjoyed the game pretty well way back when I first played it, though I do admit it gets a little repetitive until the end of the game.

The game comes out tomorrow for general release. I could have been playing since last Thursday with the right level of pre-order. I did not pre-order. It would not have been right.

They created the world perfectly and the action was fun as hell. Downers were it was too short and it didn't climax particularly well, with the last quarter of the game being very dull at times. Wish this ended up being a series :(

Time really do fly by and this brings back so many memories...memories of a time long gone and of a much lighter and brighter life. Ive just played the into to Space Marine 2. This came up in my recommended. I remember watching it back in the day I was a massive TB guy, and I am typing this comment through tears knowing the loss the industry suffered at John's death, and the fact he didn't get to see more of this. RIP John Bain, the world isn't the same without you.

Every couple of months I come back to this game and this video. I remember how much fun TB had while playing this and I play it myself. As a long time 40k fan this seems to me to be one of the best 40k experiences available on PC. My heart aches for an experience like this in a modern game. This was so much fun

Man... Space Marines 2 broght me back here. I can't believe this was 12 years ago! Time really do fly by and this brings back so many memories...memories of a time long gone and of a much lighter and brighter life. So much happened, you're gone now and I lost my dad too some time after that. Miss those days and miss you too pal, rest in peace TB, I'm glad I can at least come back here and reminisce of the good ol'days.
The knowledge of Space Marine 2 being made, makes me both really happy and incredibly sad, I cant believe you didnt get to see it TB, genuinely shed a tear coming back to this review, usually im not this parasocial but jesus, this man has changed my life in more way then one, rest easy big guy.
With this being the reason I care about warhammer deeply, the reason i bought this game and this having 1.5 mil views, I hope they honor him in the next game

Ive just played the into to Space Marine 2. This came up in my recommended. I remember watching it back in the day I was a massive TB guy, and I am typing this comment through tears knowing the loss the industry suffered at John's death, and the fact he didn't get to see more of this. RIP John Bain, the world isn't the same without you.

Every couple of months I come back to this game and this video. I remember how much fun TB had while playing this and I play it myself. As a long time 40k fan this seems to me to be one of the best 40k experiences available on PC.
My heart aches for an experience like this in a modern game. This was so much fun
