Why did you not continue this series? Would have loved to see proper Mistlands stuff... :-( By the way congratulations for the newly weds!
Loved the build. When I do docks I usually do everything on the same level so end up using stone to avoid water issues, but I like the idea of the central walk being raised with offload points lower and will have to try it out.
A friend and I recently started a new world/characters and we were able to bypass bronze and iron armors. I used troll and he used root armor while using high rank bronze weapons/buckles and relying on deer stew/sausages/turnip soup to keep block stats up. I didn't replace my troll hide until getting wolf and we haven't had any real problems clearing everything until the mountain where wolves can get tricky if there was more than one. Being able to do this does rely on being able to parry (solo I would use a buckler, but mp I use shields once available so using banded now) or a ton of patience to use a bow. We only tried this due to how much stuff uses iron and continues to throughout higher tiers so we wanted to minimize early use.

Next time, try shooting from the boat.. also if you buid a workbench at the back of the crypt, you could have easily jump atop and shoot at your leasure. Works wonders with abominations too.

What's your method for protecting these builds against events? Do you use the console? The dock seems a little...exposed, especially that market. If you do build for defense, I'd love to see some of that in a future vid!
Prior I've used pits to protect the areas, but normally I just go out and fight them off, but haven't had seeker raids yet
@@TotalXclipse Good to know, thanks! The seeker raids have been nerfed, it seems, but still a pain.
I didn't see it earlier in your vids but did you know that you can build a smoother up walk by lvling the ground with the shift button? It will smooth the ground slightly to the lvl you are pointing at, not where you character stands

How are you not always wet in the swamp? Why does it always look so bright in there? What mods are you using?
No mods - and I avoid the water. As for the brightness, I don't actually know, I thought it was pretty bright compared to usual
