  • Shot with a GoPro Hero9 check mount POV, I am trying to offer a realistic interpretation of the new hard mounted speaker system ($800 add-on) that Yamaha offers in the 2021 models.

      no, mostly for safety reasons.

Sounds like you can hear the music pretty well when riding?

Not really....probably 30mph and below...I do not believe that is what these speakers were intended for. They are PERFECT when parked and chilling...but, when riding between engine noise and wind, not so much.

@@1vegasdood I just took delivery of both of my 2021 GP1800R SVHO’s with the audio system and both systems just shut off within an hour of being on the water while playing music and will not come back on. Have you experienced a similar issue? Seems odd that not one but two wave runners have the same problem at the same time with the audio system.

@@connorpendarvis1229 We just purchased 2 VX HOs and can't figure out how to turn them on and connect bluetooth. Read the manual and it just says to push the audio power button. When I do that nothing happens on either ski. Any ideas....Thanks

@@adamgillen7412 you have to hold it down for a second. Then it will be discoverable in the Bluetooth menu of a device. If it doesn’t turn on after holding it down, then you might be having the same problem I am.

hmmmmm...do you see "Waverunner" come up when you discover new Bluetooth connx on your phone? That was the first thing I tried at the dealership...worked right away for me.

How long do speakers last while Ski being off? And do they turn off by themselves after a certain amount of time?

The new VX used the RamMount system. RamMount has been used in motorcycling for decades. They have every thing you need
