This was so interesting to watch. I can't believe how well they have both aged too, especially Nana! She looks positively gorgeous, and I swear her smile is really something special. I've felt that way ever since I first watched DS9 as a teen in the 90s.
As soon as they came on stage with those shoes, it was clear what was to come. Surprisingly awesome pairing! Can't believe they're 61 and 69!

OMG a couple of years ago when Gates had Nana on her podcast and learning Gate's background also dancing, they look like sisters. THIS is epic I couldtell they were doing a 'bit' talking themselves and each other up then into dancing! lol

as most star trek actors were usually from the theater, i swear that half of the holodeck shenanigans they came up with on the shows was so that they could satisfy their theater hearts by dressing up in great costumes and showing off their other theater talents.

hi, i think there is a problem with the audio. tried on multiple devices as have other people.
The channels are out of phase. If you sum them to mono, it's probably hard to hear at all. In stereo, it just sounds annoying and non-directional but is still audible.

Seeing this now, their first panel together years after both their ST series have ended, I can confidently say that it was a lost opportunity to not have ever had them on screen together in either show. They just click. I can only imagine their characters sharing scenes in a story arc. Major Kira and Doctor Crusher forced to work together, the clash of styles and personalities, but both effective professionals. The interplay would've been great.
Gates Mcfadden is still impossibly beautiful.

i love how they talk about the Mirror Universe so much tbh, I literally fell in love with Kira due to the Mirror Universe and its great to hear the perspective of the actor on how it came together.
Dear viewer, whatever you can personally do to increase the sound and hear what these two lovely people are saying, do it. This was delightful.

if you watch post modern jukebox bad romance, there's a tap dancer looks just like nana on there and i thought at the time, man it'd be great if the real nana could tap dance, p.s. did anyone else try and picture gates on a unicycle lol
If you listen in mono you will get no sound as the left & right channel are out of phase (so when added together cancel out). Listen in stereo or to only left OR right channel.

My God you're a genius! With one BT earbud on there's no audio. When I turned the second one on it switched to stereo and I got sound.
My surround sound is blaring this only from behind me :P It's weird.
I really wish there were subtitles, I am deaf and it was so hard to make out what they were saying.
