Myself and Godfrey are off to the other side of the world in a couple of weeks. A big trip targeting VERY BIG Fish. Any guesses what we are chasing?

Great vid, point to note. Manatees and dugongs are different animals. Dugongs have that whale tail going on, whereas Manatees have a kind of clamshell tail design
I've said it before and I'll say it again, but having gone from the best fisherman on YT you're now producing the best fly stuff!! These camera angles are insane. You make permit look far far too easy!!

It’s called a gavs crab. This particular one made by a guy Alex Roy. A lot of guys make them though
When fish like those Gt are grumpy and moving that fast , they don’t like to move far for a presentation. You need to fire one well in front and hope they swim your line. Then when they a few inches away start retrieving. When they locked down like that it’s tough. But sometimes one will lunge at presentation.

Dugongs and manatees are both large, slow-moving, aquatic mammals that are often confused for each other because of their similar characteristics and behavior. However, there are some key differences between the two:
Appearance
Manatees have paddle-shaped tails, two flippers, and a whiskered snout, while dugongs have fluked tails, similar to a whale's, and a large snout with an upper lip that protrudes over their mouth.
Size
Manatees can grow to be 8 to 13 feet long and weigh between 440 and 1,300 pounds, while dugongs can reach 8 to 10 feet long and weigh between 510 and 1,100 pounds.
Habitat

Reproduction
