I guess the problem was who he lied to. Ofc. Cameron would be on the phone immediately after having a government spokesperson making quite ludicrous statements directly over twitter/X. Alicia Kearns called him out on that claim and asked him to provide evidence because that was in direct conflict of the evidence that she had been provided with when she was in Gaza. Instead, he deleted his tweet.
