To me, these are the real deal welding videos. It's all about the fabrication. Like the torch work. I appreciate seeing how you set the job up and brace your hands on some stock to keep the torch elevated properly. Pretty cool how you're able to have a clean start and stop mid way through the cut like that, too. Your designs have some grace and elegance. Lot guys out there welding don't have your artistic eye and it shows in their bulky and cobbled together designs. Many best wishes in all your endeavors.
. . . Brother Allen, I have saw track torches that do not cut as well as you. You are one cutting dude, really enjoy watching you at your craft. Keep up with the good work and keep the burn to a minimal . . .
Keep the videos coming Allen. Do some more videos on your wood working projects, your pallet Christmas tree video is how I first found you. Also a vlog about you ( work you do, how you learned to weld, fabricate etc), your family and town would be very interesting as well.
I've watched dozens of your videos, and this is the first one that I've seen the sun shining in. Glad to see it doesn't rain ALL the time where you are. Great work by the way..
you should be able to buy your flats in 1/2" to 4" for what you're buying plate for, save yourself a heck of a lot of torch time/$$$. You are the best torch man I've seen in a long time ! Yes I know it's fast forward on the vid. Look up the KM-10 Chopsaw from Kalamazoo, they aren't real expensive and are great saw's. I've had mine since "99, on the 3rd motor but it's still working good.
Where on Earth ! Do you get these ideas?? Give them to me !! Second thought.......I don't want to be that busy 😀 great stuff !! You are quite the Craftsman .
Fascinated watching you work brother! I love this particular 24” pit.....any possibility of fabricating a lid or dome? I smoke everything on my 22 Weber kettle, but love this build you did-but I would still like the option to control the temp if I weren’t using it for Santa Maria type grilling. Maybe your Komodo/green egg style is what I’m interested in. Either way....I’ll keep watching!
I know you use a cutoff wheel a lot on your projects. Lenox has a diamond cutoff wheel out know for metal and you can get them in a 4 1/2". Just wonder if you've ever tried them.
Allen, just discovered your channel and you doing great work man! Keep it up! I would love one of these smaller fire pit/BBQ. How much are they going for? And do you ship them?
Your channel has GOT to blow up! seriously, This is fantastic work and great watching you do it. When funds allow, a better camera would be a great addition so we can see all your great work even better. Love the videos though, cant get enough of them. Its such a rush when you find a new youtube channel and get to go and binge watch all the videos! new sub from Ireland sir!
I signed up man, love your work ,please let me know how to order the 24 inch or the big one,I'm writing about the WOOD BURNING PIT'S ...OR BOTH one for the front yard and back yard, please let me know as soon as possible....hope to. here from you soon. ..
Question o wise one. Which chimney position to you think is better for an offset reverse flow smoker. On the top of the cook chamber or half way up the side ?
Hey Allen. how come you have not moved on to plasmacutting yet? i mean acetylene do cost a bit. whilst the plasma only needs a compressor. or have i missed something?
Allen's welding/woodworking how much would a large fire pit cost and what would the sniping be to Nevada you do great work hope can keep doing what you looks like you might be enjoying yourself

Hey, Allen, great video and awesome work, as usual. What thickness metal are you using to make these pits with?
Rick M great question... what is the thickness, that looks pretty heavy
Rick M these fire pits are 3/16" plate, most of the bbq pits are either 1/8" or 3/16"
haha this guy can save the money instead of getting a CNC plasma cutter no problem! :D
Hi Allen, what thickness of steel do you use on the fire pits buddy ?
What are the measurements for all these pieces?
Where is the farmers market that you sell your items at ?
The top piece cut out clip is in the vid twice Allen great job though
kevin steffes that was for the next BBQ pit, no sense just making one, make two. Lol. Great job Allen!
It was exactly the same piece of steel he cut it out exactly the same way he put the clip in there twice i watched it three times to make sure
Nice
Hey Allen. how come you have not moved on to plasmacutting yet? i mean acetylene do cost a bit. whilst the plasma only needs a compressor. or have i missed something?
