I’ve never seen Maine. I was watching out the window with you. I grew up in Minnesota along the Mississippi River on a farm. Brett is a very nice guy. I worked with my grandfather on the farm. He paid in Dairy Queen ice cream. Nice memories riding in the back of a 1965 Chevy truck. Blessings.
Taylor. You and Brent is what this crazy world needs. Love and compassion. Yours is with the cows and what you do around the farm. I hope that the float turns out okay. With yours and Brents expertise I am sure it will be a hit. With this crazy world we live in now it is refreshing to see some sanity abound. Good luck and God Bless
Good morning Taylor I look forward to starting every Sunday morning watching your videos and having my coffee. Wish I could find a farmhand like you to help me but its impossible to find anyone who has a good work ethic anymore. Keep up the great videos.
Good morning Taylor from a hot and humid Wisconsin. Supposed to be close to 90 degrees here today. Sorry for the loss of your cow. You did all you could do to save it. It has to be hard on you because you are so close to your cows. It won’t be long and your own heifers will be joining the herd. On the other hand it was fun watching you and Brent getting ready for that parade with a Hawaiian theme. Anxious to see the results. I can see that Brent is more than your boss. He’s probably a great friend also . Someone everybody would want as a friend. Taylor please never change who you are especially in this crazy world we live in. You always have a positive attitude no matter what life brings you. Awesome video.🐄🚜🇺🇸🌽😉
It never gets tired of watching two people munching away at a tasty meal. You know it tastes good when the conversation dies down and the munching increases. Those oinon rings look delish.
Sorry you lost the cow that was having problems. and also congratulations on the newborn calf. So glad you take us with you on your adventures of milking & farming.
Nice rainbow at about 13 minutes. The first real rainbow Genesis 9:15-17. God's promise. I enjoy your videos about where my milk really comes from. Your hard work. Thank you.
Taylor you and Brent need to restore an old farm tractor for parades or purchase one with nice paint and tires . Falltime or a Halloween hayride is very pleasurable and I know would be enjoyable !
Can’t wait to see the float all done. You two make a great team. I get to drive one of our tractors in the upcoming parade. Can’t wait. Hopefully will see you there. Have a good week.
Thank you for all the hard work. I grew up on the dairy farm. We had bulk At the time, it was kind of a new thing. We melt about thirty five holsteings and guernsey. My dad lost a whole herd to TB We never recovered. It's a great life.Thank you for all the reminders.
Hey this is Ron and Kathy. We were there last week from Michigan. My husband really enjoyed talking to you guys. It would be cool if you mentioned Ron the old Michigan Milker. JS😉
Hello Taylor from North Carolina. I'm a new subscriber and I'm enjoying your videos. My Father-in-law ran a dairy for over 60 years. I worked there for a couple of years. Long story as to why his only son isn't still running the dairy. I can relate to all you do. It is enjoyable work. Do you have FairLife milk products in Maine? If so you need to try their chocolate milk. It's the best I think. Thanks for producing the videos. Be safe and God bless.
I think I see where you are going with the float. It's going to be brilliant. We are on day 10 of a heat wave and the rain has all gone pretty much north or south of us. Once again a real pleasure checking in with what is going on. Take care.
Hi Taylor awesome video again thanks, that is some beautiful scenery travelling back from the sawdust place. Such sad news about your cow.You and 🍩 your addicted 😅. Brent has a great sense of humour. Man that buzzing must drive you mad. Very artistic you two thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Don't know why I like your sawdust runs so much, but I think it's about my favorite part of your vids! Probably the food angle! You go for donuts at a pizza place or get onion rings when the donuts are gone. And Brent gets a beef sandwich!! Not fare! Haven't you had a teacher tell you you should bring enough for everyone or not bring any at all?! lol! You have a brake light out on the Yellow Dog. Great video Taylor. Always look forward to your videos!
morning Sunshine. Being a dinosaur myself, It's noce to see a young person reading from an actual book rather than some electronic device. JS. Sorry you lost the cow but you are right, that is life on a farm. Beryl came thru here (SE Michigan) & left 3" in my rain gauge. The food looks good.
Good morning Tay. Crazy world we live in. All that crazy that went on yesterday was a few miles from my house. On a lighter note. Another great video. Awesomeness.
Another great video video, sweetheart. Our weather’s been in the mid 90s over 100 for the last three weeks with the humidity, but we were able to get a lot of haying done. Stopped raining for a few days. You lost the cow. I know things happen. I hope you’re doing well. Talk to you soon.🤗
Taylor of course you look young and beautiful too Don’t feel bad about being carded. There are some stores that will card a 90 year old person because of store policy which to me makes no sense
Sorry to hear that your sick cow did not make it. Hope the 'loose poop' situation clears up!! Where I live, we really could use some of your rain! Oh man....a float in a parade....now that's exciting!!
Another great video, Taylor. BTW, if it's guys looking at you driving Big Yellow, they're just thinking; "Ooo, look at that pretty lady driving that truck".
Hi, Habe you ever thought about a bale spear or a pallet fork for the back of the Kubota. You could pick up a bale before the loading to relieve some weight from the front axle. So stearing would be easier. Greetings from Germany.
Thirty years of working with horses I have buried quite a number . But if one were to drag them into the woods the scavengers would finish the job in about three weeks . Not a pleasant topic but when working with live stock it happens .
@TAYLOR , just wanted to share how you and brent start the milk process and i finish it by delivering milk to grocery stores 5-6 days a week here in OHIO 😁😁😁😁😁
Your chocolate milk is ultra pasteurized and therefore can be stored at room temperature prior to opening and exposing it to surrounding bacteria. Nearly all consumer milk and associated milk products sold in European markets are ultra pasteurized and are stored and sold at room temperature. My experience from living in Spain for 8 years and traveling Europe. Great videos that clearly define the hard work and gritty nature of farm life. With farm animals, there is no work day off. Landenberg PA.
That is very interesting, thanks for clearing that up! Must have been quite an experience traveling through Europe! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Ultra pasteurize update: In eastern PA, the markets sell a milk product, Light Cream. This product is stored, sold, and used by consumers refrigerated. We use this a coffee creamer it produces a delicious cup when used with quality coffee. I often wondered why this product lasts so long in the refrigerator. This morning I examined the label and it indicated “ultra pasteurized”. For quality coffee, try Eight O’Clock Dark Italian Espresso (whole bean), very close to actual European Café available at Walmart.
Truck lights are on 2:38 . Im paying close attention in case of pop quiz. Love the vids wished I could transport myself there to help out . Healthy livin
Hi Taylor. Definitely have the temperatures for a Hawaii theme. I think the weather man is talking about a weather pattern change for the end of this week I sure hope so
Love how you end your videos. I feel like I'm getting punched in the face. lol . Seriously, Brings back memories of life on the dairy farm. We milked about the same amount of cows ( Holsteins ) but in old style stanchions. Central PA the growing season was longer and we did silage corn, High moisture corn and hay. Cows stayed either in a barnyard or later in the freestyle barn. Glad you can still stay in business with the big boy dairy farms. Low overhead is the key i guess.
Another great video. I have been watching for several months and wondering how far you travel to get to the different fields from the barn? In the videos it looks like the fields are spread out. I look forward to your Thursday and Sunday videos, thanks and keep them coming.
Good morning Taylor. Looks like I am first to comment it looks like you are going to have decent weather today I know the Moo Moos will be happy to get out of the barn, but please keep yourself Hydrated and wear sunglasses to protect your lovely eyes Your friend from Massachusetts Kenny Dean 😊❤
First off thank you for another awesome video youngin. Second you do look a lot younger than you are, that's a good thing according to my grand daughter🙄😐🤭. Yes she watches your videos with me lol. I can't get over how beautiful a state Maine is. I grew up on a cattle farm in central Arkansas and the landscape is similar. We can't wait to see the float!!! Everyone in Northeast Arkansas says hey Taylor and Brent 👍🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙏🙏🙏🚜🚜🐄🐄🐕
Thank you,☺️ glad she watches with you😊. It certainly has some pretty countryside! I always love hearing how our landscape compares with other parts of the country, thanks so much for watching! See ya again soon 😃
@@tayfarms I swear it sounds like yall's weather is exactly the same only the humidity is 85% around the middle of May till the first of October lol. Please don't start selling tayfarms clothing she will make me buy everything 🙄🙄😐😕🤫🤫
Wow, what a beautiful part of Maine. We've been by the ocean, Acadia, Kennebunkport etc. We have to try your area. What's some the towns you live near?
10:40 Thats actually somewhat common in places outside the US. I went to Germany many years ago and while there saw that they keep their milk in the pantry until its opened and then store it in the fridge. Not sure how they do it but yeah, its done that way and has been for many years.
11:00 if you don't have to put the drink in the fridge, it is pasteurised. This kills all the bacteria and the quality deteriorates a little. Because ingesting live bacteria is healthy.
All store bought milk is pasteurized and homogenized. It still has to be refrigerated. That brand of chocolate milk is UHT milk, it will last i believe for three months without refrigeration. I personally don't like the taste of it .
@@richardhoover7569 ok in germany it is common that pasteurised milk does not have to go into the cooler because it is not necessary. I don't know the usa law. Thank you.
