By throwing the ball away from Vini, Kimmich already didn't want the corner to be taken quickly. I was thinking, what's this guy doing? Kimmich was mentally in a dark spot that night, he wasn't even thinking clearly. That last minute free kick that he gifted to Lunin was a prime example.
