    I'm a subscriber of your channel and I just have to say that I enjoy watching your videos and love the content. Learning and growing with you as you build out your homestead has been a joy! Thank you for making it fun! I realize you're not licensed in any of the projects you are doing and neither am I but I hope others can also appreciate that you are an inspiration to us DIYers who love this stuff. Please continue to build safely and thank you for sharing with us.

    Just curious of why you placed the pressure tank after the filter and not before?

    My parents had a "well house" and kept a heat lamp on the pump during the cold weather. Will you need more protection on your pump (under the rock)?

    Looks good. One question couldn't the grounding rod be closer to the building?

    How does a one way valve “protect all your devices “? Lol it’s not a surge protector. It just doesn’t allow water to flow back an loose prime.

    Thanks for video. Coming out of well casing to well house it's buried how deep? Did you consider building well house around well
    Casing?

      I, for the life of me, can’t see why he wouldn’t have enclosed the whole thing. Makes no since.

      @@calebsmith95 well if well pump dies and you use rigid pvc you’d have to take off roof to get pump out. That’s the only reason I’m thinking of not building over my wellhead. I was going to use the black poly pipe on new well.

    Filter between pump and pressure switch is a very bad idea!

    • @theElderberryFarmer
      @theElderberryFarmer Před 2 lety

      Agreed! A clogged filter can lead to the pressure switch not turning off and you end up burning up an expensive submersible pump.

    Why didnt you just build your well house a little bigger and enclose your well stack inside the same place

      Need to be able to service the well with a boom truck. Better to have it outside the pump house with a pitless adaptor.
